Steam Admin Phantom?

    I got a friend request so I accepted it. (Assusmed it was tf2 outpost) But it was this guy claiming to be a admin. His text was full blue. He was like: Oh, im here to test your Track Terrorizer and your Backwards Ballcap. He said I'm admin from steam. I don't think a administrator from Valve would've said " I am admin from steam" Me being a grammar nazi I knew this was funny so I de friended him quick. Can somebody give me some opinions and if this guy was legit? His steam name was "Phantom"

    Definately fake. Valve don't need your permission to look at items, they can just manually edit your inv.
    Also, AFAIK, all Valve mods have purple text.

    The blue text is done by typing like this in steam chat:

    /me blabla

    and all real valve employees are automatically marked "valve employee" on SR. This is automatically checked and marked/unmarked. Within 30 minutes (I believe) of a change, this will be reflected on SR. So no outdated or other blah is going to work.
