    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198149528949

    Victim profile: 76561198166629407

    What happened? Description:
User added me and said he really likes Fade knives and wanted to buy mine, we discussed a few things like float, pricing, fade percentage, and things of the nature. He asked if I was ok with PayPal and I said sure, since I dont mind how I get payed for my items, as long as I actually get paid... He then said I should go first, I then said we should use a Steamrep middleman and he just offered to go first after that, which seemed sketchy to me. I gave him my PayPal email and he claimed to have sent me a payment of $265 USD which is what we agreed on. I went on with him for quite a while because I suppose there was a delay with his "payment" and it took like 15 mins for it to actually show up in my email. After all of the discussion with him, it turned out that he was trying to invoice scam me. And once I mentioned to him that he sent me an invoice and that he spent all of that time for nothing, he removed and blocked me, as shown in one of the screenshots shown below. I screenshotted my email of the invoice but for some reason there is no invoice showing up in my PayPal summary nor PayPal activity, so I hope what I have provided is sufficient, I believe what I have provided shows it was quite obvious the user was attempting to scam me.

    Provide Evidence:
Proof of user trying to scam me is shown within the images below.

need a screen shot of your Paypal ACTIVITY (not Summary) for let’s say the last several days full screen DO NOT edit this shot in anyway. Upload here.
Also need to see the invoice opened from within Paypal full screen also.

What am I supposed to do if the invoice never showed up through PayPal's site? This is my recent activity, but an invoice never showed up through my PayPal, only my email. Im guessing this is why he kept telling me to check my email and not my PayPal? https://gyazo.com/186673e7ddad35205a418d8b7b879625

So, because the invoice is no longer there (it never showed in the first place), this guy is going to get off the hook with trying to scam? Anyway, here is the screenshot above uploaded through the site

@swndlr Your saying you are a victim of a invoice scam thru paypal - prove it.
If you can't show it on your paypal then there is no proof - there is nothing here that we can verify - therefore if you can't give evidence for this happening then YES this user is innocent since there is ZERO proof. The email isn't enough - must see it on your paypal activity.
We can't just tag/ban users without evidence - you wouldn't like it if someone accused you of something similar without proof and we tagged you.

So apparently you do not have it - thus the report will be archived.
