What happened? Description:

Paypal scam attempt, also using a new clean Steam account with a Clean SteamRep profile with massive fake rep involving multiple persons with decent amount of good SteamRep (Probably scammers too).

If you check the screenshots of the steam conversation , you can see this person give me his Rep on backpack.tf with this link:

https://backpack.tf/trust/76561198088459962 (24 Positive Rep with some deals including huge amount of cash).

This link is a fake because the Steam profile attached to this link is this one (2 years old acccount, see the badge)

As you can see his inventory contains 1102 Keys.

But if you check yourself, his real profile is this one: (3 years old account, see the badge)

So this person created a clean Steam profile (2 years ago) and he give the fake link on the Steam conversation and if you not verifying yourself, you can fall in this trap.

Some others persons who rated this guy good, are probably involved on this massive fake rap thread.

More bullshit coming soon, because this guy also added my friend Hory
( http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198021691101/ ) and trying to scam him too 2 min after he quit my steam conversation. He also blocked me on Steam.

Hory can post more proofs about him to complete this report.

Please do not carry out discussions in report threads - they are NOT forums for open discourse.

If you have something constructive to add, you are welcome to reply. However, opinions, "he scammed me too"s, vouches, and anecdotes are not welcome and will result in forum warnings and bans.

Specific things we do not want to see are:
- Repping. Evidence stands by itself and any vouches are disregarded and void.
- Reporting the accused, they should make their own report.
- Petty replies and drawn out arguments.
- Opinions on the report as a whole.

Things that we want to see are:
- Asking reporter to upload evidence that is currently missing from report criteria.
- Additional evidence, for example item history on backpack.tf or tf2items.
- Accused user replying, settling the report by either counter evidence.

Thanks - issue is I can't confirm you were ever friends with this exact user by SteamID - all I see is a chat box with a name and profile image. Need to verify this and you can do that with a screenshot of your activity thru a web browser - when you take this and it shows you adding the user hover your mouse pointer over the users name so it shows the popup of the profile. Make sure you open this in a web browser before doing anything rather than steam client. Take the screenshot and make sure it's Full Screen and make sure steam client URL is enabled, not edited or cropped in any way!

Have a friend help you if need be. But I need to confirm identity of who you talked to.
I can only wait 24hours more before I'll be forced to archive report to keep someone that may be innocent from being marked.

I gave you plenty of time - I'm rather busy and I don't have an hour to sit and discuss this over steam chat.
I've explained multiple ways to confirm identity and gave you plenty of time to do so.

If you can not prove it with activity or re-adding the user then you don't have it. DO you have this yes or no?

Didn't block you on steam either - don't have time to talk to you beyond the 20minutes I already gave trying to explain this to you.
You wouldn't like it if someone reported you cause of an impersonator of you and couldn't prove it otherwise I'm sure and this is the case.
