I met this player on tf2hats.com unusual trade server, where I approached him with interest in his scorching flames team captain. He later began to talk about trading and pricing, etc.

We became good friends right away, but then, all of a sudden, he began to develop an interest for my sunbeams honcho's headgear. I said I would sell it to him for 300$ over paypal.

I then got on my paypal, and he said to give the hat to him, so he could essentially middleman the trade between me and the "buyer" that he had been so enthusiastic to tell me about. Naturally, being a nice guy, I said alright, and so I went first in the trade.

All of sudden, I was blocked. He removed me and ran.

His last words: "Gimme a few seconds"
He took the hat, paypal scammed me off it and is gone.

I do not have the sunbeams honcho's headgear anymore; he has taken it and traded it away.
I have no record of the item history either.

I attempted to add him to talk about it, but unfortunately, I had been removed and blocked from his friend's list.

just throwing up links in case they help. i would also like to let it be known that he failed to send cash that was part of his deal for the scorch tc mentioned in the original post. when i confronted him about that through steam chat, he ignored me, and has since removed me. cute.
