    Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198268189148

    Victim profile: 76561198144361930

    What happened? Description:
    ovaxere5645 added me and wanted to trade his Karambit | Rust Coat Battle-Scared for my Karambit | Safari Mesh Well-Worn. He said he wanted to make sure my items are real and 100% safe to trade so he said he would add an item inspector. After he added the item inspector he invited me to a group chat and the Item inspector said he was a steam admin. Basically he went on to say that we needed to trade the Item inspector our items and that he would verify it and that he could not accept the trade as it is locked by steam. So basically he tried to Item Verification Scam me.​

    Provide Evidence:
    The first image shows the chat when ovaxere first added me and it shows the Initial trade. Another screenshot is to prove me and ovaxere are friends. The other set of screen shots are from the Group chat and show the scam attempt. And the last 2 screenshots show the profiles and the links to the scammer and the item Verification / Fake steam rep admin that attempted to scam me. View attachment 572048 ​
