What happened? Description:

This user, Profatum, posted a trade on Dota2Lounge.com offering Collectors Cache Bundles. I offered $4USD in items for his Flowing Entropy Spectre bundle and he agreed.

We eventually agreed to swap his Flowing Entropy bundle (Unmarketable) and Lightning Orchid ($1.50) for my World Chasm Artifact (Value $5.50) and Fluttering Mortis ($0.50).

I traded the marketable items, $1.50 value vs $5.90. After this trade was confirmed he stopped chatting to me and did not gift the Flowing Entropy bundle as he had promised.​

Looking at other reports, I think I need to include a screen of the trade history:

This screen is from just now and Flowing Entropy bundle has not been gifted yet. 2 full days later.

It appears to me that this user is using his untradeable bundles as bait regularly on Dota2Lounge.com.

I am bumping this as I see this user has another report and this one has been pending for a year and a half. Please review the evidence I uploaded.

Here is the same user's inventory which still has the Spectre Flowing Entropy set, which is untradeable and unmarketable. You can see that he still has the set in his inventory.

I was supposed to receive the set as a gift thru the Dota 2 client. I think this is the only way to transfer items that are untrade-able.

If it's relevant, the completed trade screenshot in my original post of the Storm Spirit Lightning Orchid was valued at roughly 1.5USD, and the Enigma item and the DP item were valued at roughly 5.5USD at the time. The untradeable Spectre bundle was supposed to make up the rest of the value.

I hope that clears up my post. If not, please advise what other information I should supply and I'll do my best to do so.

Here is my inventory of all of my Spectre items. If needed I can take additional photos if more context is needed.



Also, here is my trade history for the relevant period... however I believe that gifts made IN dota are not displayed. I'm not aware of any way to see the record of such gifts. All I can think of to show now is that I do not have in my inventory any Flowering Shade items, which can only be gifted once.

Ok. No I'm not irritated with you or anyone except my trade partner. It seems there's no way to confirm this instance, but at least the evidence will be in this post for other users to see before trading with them. They can make their own judgement.
