What happened? Description:

As shown in screenshots he commented on one of my steam screenshots offering a Karambit Black Pearl for my Flip Knife Sapphire, that was very suspicious because it is too good to be true.

He indeed has a Karambit Black Pearl in his inventory.

When I went to his profile it said in the description "Don't add me to trade just send an offer." with a trade link below: http://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/?partner=426972016&token=Vn5cypJL

I opened the trade link and checked the Karambit in the inventory and it was a Karambit Doppler P3. I went to the profile from the trade link and it is an identical account by all means, except for 1 digit in custom url (which is made to look like a steam id).

Profiles look exactly identical. This is a very impressive attempt of scam with extreme attention to detail in keeping identical profiles.

To make it clear this was an attempt at scamming me, it wasn't successful.

Apparently he was successful in scamming someone because the knife is different on the second account now.
