Help Please!

    Hey guys,
    For some reason i cannot run my steam app today.
    Was working just fine yestarday.
    I restarted my computer and it said that "steam is already running in a diffrent windows session"!
    when i try to start it it just bring up this message

    I am pretty scared as i have a lot of stuff in my account
    The thing is, i cant even get on my other accounts, so something is wrong
    Please help me!

    Your problem was "steam is already running in a diffrent windows session"
    The only thing that triggers that is when Steam crashes during the launch.

    The 5 Pages of SPUF thread you found doesn't contain that phrase.

    Is the correct answer to the problem. For indeed the Steam.exe crashed, and was stuck in memory, or was running under another user in Windows. It even occurs if steam is just ago closed, for the .dll's still need to be unloaded from memory.

    @ Moose M.D: Really should learn to validate input from others, even if you don't like that input, or think its not the answer for you. Insulting people who try to help you is not going to get "better" answers.
