What happened? Description:

The scammer attempted multiple levels of identity scam. They added me, claiming they wanted to buy some unusuals from me for pure, showing me a link to an alternative accounts inventory they claimed was storage.( https://steamcommunity.com/id/VirtualDream1/ ) I decided to play along with the intent of finding out as much as i could. They asked to "check" my items through a registered middleman, and had me attempt to add them. When i did, a second account with the same profile name and picture was added to a group chat with us two, http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197963163277/ When i asked about the disparity, they claimed that they where an alt account used for "Checking items". When i showed them they where banned on steam rep, they claimed that they had recently purchased the account off a cousin. At this point i had all the information i needed and ended my interaction and blocked them.​
