Dear Steamrep Support,

First of all I apologize if I do something wrong, I already read the FAQ about appeals but since English is not my primary language... Let me know if I misunderstood something.

So, 6 years ago I kinda remember this guy "https://forums.sourceop.com/threads/85081-scammer-report" trying to sell me a CD key of a game called Dead Island and he was interested in a copy of Dota 2.

He accepted to go first so I was happy about that and after several attempts of invalid/used keys, finally one worked, to be honest I was going to send him the copy of Dota 2 but since selling CD Keys was and I think is still ilegal, I refused to give him Dota 2 and deleted him instead...

I admit that I scammed him, I was a 15 years old braindead kid, shame on me.
I could add him to say sorry and repay him but there's a problem and thats why in "Repayment" section I chose "No, I committed no fraud or had no direct victims"

Whats the problem? Well, after a few moths, the game Dead Island just disappeared and I wanted to know how and after doing a quick research I found a post in reddit I think, about people selling stolen Dead Island CD Keys, my memory is blurred but I think it was an exploit of a website who sells games. And Valve completely removed the whole stolen Dead Island cd keys from every account.
After that I remember that I bought a legit Dead Island GOTY with my money.

But yes, I know, that doesn't change the fact that I scammed him, like I said before I admit it, I was a very stupid kid but that won't ever happen again I'm almost 22 years old and my mind its completely different.

No, I don't have an SOP account and I don't have additonal steam accounts either. I didn't repay the victim because like I said before the game got removed but if I need to do it anyway, I will then.

I already sent an friend request to the victim and while I'm waiting to be accepted, if he wants a repayment, lets say a game from the steamstore, can I purchase it as a gift? I'm asking this because I couldn't find anything about gifts in "Appeal Tips" section and If I'm not wrong if I buy a game and put it in my inventory, I need to wait 30 days to trade it. Also, the new system of SteamGift Digital Cards will work?

About your questions:

Why I didn't appeal 6 years ago? To be honest I don't know but if I need to answer the question, the only thing that comes in my mind was because of my mentality, like I said before I was an immature 15 years old kid and didn't care about anything.
Why I'm appealing now? Well, time has passed and completely forgot about it, until one of my best friends asked me why I'm banned in Steamrep, and after reading the victim thread about me I started to remember how I was and felt bad, and asking to myself why I did that? why I was like that? trying to find an answer.
And about repaying the victim, I contacted with him 1 hour ago, I attached the file of the conversation.

To be honest I'm happy to be forgiven, and even if he doesn't want a repayment now, I will do it if he wants something in the future.
