He said it was a Dirty Houwar that he had gift wrapped worth a little more then my hat but he would be willing to trade. After discussing it with my friend I decided to do the trade. I checked the name of the hat in the description of Carefully Wrapped Gift box and it matched up. So i thought all is well but after showing it to my friend after the trade was over he said it was a fake that had just been renamed. now I am out a good hat for nothing. I dont have the trade logs screenshot and im not really looking to get the hat back or anything I just wanted to make it known. poor judgement on my part yes but still sad to see people like this.
The way to avoid this is to check the users bp , & see whats inside ( a little image of the item shows on the bottom right )
