    Scam Report

Report Type: [Trade Offer Fraud] Using Trade Offer URL fraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198347743242

    Victim profile: 76561198137897449

    What happened? Description:
I found his post for knife trading on CSGO Traders group. I added him on steam and he asked me what I was looking for. I showed him my knife in my steam inventory (it is public) and I asked to see his knives (his inventory was private). He told me to join him on discord so that he can show me his inventory on screenshare. We spoke on discord call and he showed me a bunch of knives that he had and then said he wanted to trade his M9 Bayonet Marble Fade for my Falchion Knife Blue Steel + M4A4 Evil Damiyo. He said he would only do the trade if I turn on my screenshare and "check" my items sale history on OPskins.com. He had me first do it with a graffiti and then told me to do it with my knife and the m4a4. It didnt feel right so i told him I would call him back once I ask my friends and search online for this "sale history" stuff. He kept pestering me about how he would offer more items if I could just show him the sale history. So I did the whole process with my knife and M4A4 without the screenshare and sent him the screenshots. He said no, he wants to see the whole process on screenshare. I explained to him how that is just too shady with how someone could scam the bot # and bot verification code if it was shared live on screenshare while I was depositing my items. We went back and forth for a little bit over this. I told him I dont want to do it over screenshare and if he wants to do the trade, I will throw in a key as well to make up for this one thing he keeps insisting on. He kept saying he wants assurance and he wants to see the items be deposited live and only then will he do the trade with me. He also offered me more items just for the "sale history checking process". Kept saying he was overpaying and wanted to do this fast. In the end, I told him if he wants to do the trade he can send me a straight up steam trade offer. If he doesn't want to do the trade then he can forget about it. I posted on the CSGO Traders group that this was happening and wanted advice, one of the members replied and messaged me telling me this was a common scam and that I shouldn't go through with something like this. He also pointed me to SteamRep where I could report him. I closed my steam chat history so it only shows the last few lines of conversation we had but I have my discord chat history saved.

Since you did that and we can't confirm this user ever said anything thru steam which links Steam ID to the user your accusing we can't do anything here.
