What happened? Description:

Dude added me after i posted a comment of a trading group regarding my knife. He tried an OpSkins.com "sale history" scam where he wanted me to screenshare my desktop while depositing the items and then send me a trade offer right before the actual bot would or something along those lines. I reported one of these a little while back but I discussed the trade outside of steam chat so it became invalid. This time I made sure everything was said on steam chat.​

I forgot to add a screenshot of his steam profile too.

He wanted me to screenshare while depositing my skins to OpSkins.com so he could send me a trade request with the same Bot code and Bot # that OpSkins.com safely generates in order to let people know its a LEGIT trade offer when we are depositing our skins to OpSkins.com. He wants me to screenshare the depositing process, "live" and "time to time" as he said, in order to swap out trade invites where I would actually be offering the skin to him as opposed to depositing it in OpSkins.com. If he legit just wanted to see my sale history on OpSkins.com he would have accepted when I told him I would show him the trade history screen live but not the skin depositing screen live. He insisted on seeing that part of the process live. Offered me a $200 knife for a $90 knife ONLY if I showed him the sale history process on screenshare. It's a pretty interesting way to scam someone, but not an uncommon one.

That was how the scam was supposed to go down. I wasn't going to go through with the scam to try it, get scammed and then report it to you guys. It has all the warning signs of one. Don't think he was a legit trader who wanted to trade me his $200 knife + more items for my $90 knife only and only if I agreed to do the one thing that lines up with a well known scam. Just trying to help the next person from not getting scammed because I checked his steamrep profile before trading with him and it was clean.
