What happened? Description:

The scam method he used is actually quite smart. I have video and screenshots of the attempted scam. I will upload the video to YT and link it in here once its done. He offered me a Flip knife worth $126 at the time for my entire inventory worth $48.48. He said he wanted to make sure that the items are sell-able on OP skins, the site he was going to sell the item on after scamming me. So he asked me to deposit a grafitty just for me to learn how to do it. He told me to select the item, check the box "Deposit to OP Skins inventory" click next then click deposit. Which sent an offer to my steam account that I accepted. He then told me to withdraw it back which I did. Then he told me to do the same with all of my guns and instead of clicking deposit he told me to uncheck "Deposit to OP Skins inventory" and check it again, then reload the page. I went to click on "deposit" and he (on discord) told me that that was for selling items instead. Nice little trick. I declined it and made him do it again just to gather more proof. This time even before doing that he had sent me an offer from his fake bot account. BTW he didn't even bother changing the bot to a different # so it was still the same one. Also, I asked him to keep sharing his screen (via discord) just for proof. So that I see if he does send that offer. He kept it on for a while then he turned his video off and sent the offer.

Basically here's how the scam works. He has an account that looks like a different account with an inventory worth 48k. His inventory is on private and he links to the real inventory of the other guy on his account (https://steamcommunity.com/id/kislajos1/inventory/) his actual username being "kislejos1" and the other account being "kislajos1". He tells you that he will send you an offer after you deposit all the items to OP Skins. Knowing it'll never get to that point. He'd recieve the items in his fake bot's account and then block you. He tells you to refresh the OP Skins website because that'll cancel the trade with OP Skins so you dont recieve two trade offers. (one from him one from actual OP Skins)

I uploaded the screen recording of almost the entire thing here. All the needed proof should be in here. I understand that it is a long video. Feel free to skip to more important bits. I just thought I'd upload it so you guys can gather whatever information you may need. During the time he was trying to scam me btw his profile was public, inventory was private and the inventory of the other guy he linked to was public bot the other guy's profile was private. and im referring to https://steamcommunity.com/id/kislajos1/inventory/ when i say "other guy".
