What happened? Description:

This guy added me, invite me to trade my inventory for one of his knives in his "storage account" which was an actual account that he was impersonating. I said yes of course, even though I knew it was a scam, since he wanted to overpay 30 bucks. Then he told me he had to verify both of our items. He then linked me a "steam admin" and got us into a group chat, then he explained what I had to do, I had to send an offer of the items that I wanted to trade and then he would verify them, I sent him a graffiti then he blocked me

So I could not take screenshots of the conversation since I played him for so long that the conversation was insanely long, so I copy and pasted it into a text document. Since there were two people involved (The fake admins profile btw: https://steamcommunity.com/id/TomBuiSteamSupport/) there are also group chat logs which are labelled something with group.

I know I am supposed to have screenshots but this is sadly all I have, and I unfriended them so I can't even pull up the chat logs anymore.

I ALSO understand that usually you report scams if you actually GOT scammed, but I figured if I report this guy even if I did not fall for it, others might be safe.​

Provide Evidence:

As I mentioned before, I could not take screenshots, but I still hope this is accepted as a legit report and this guy gets reported so other people affected by him specifically will be safer.​

So before the chat he just added me and said to add his storage account and
then I had the documents saved.
