    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198300162273

    Victim profile: 76561198319551739

    What happened? Description:
My friend got hacked last week by a hacker and the hacker got it instantly VAC banned. The hacker impersonated my friend who got hacked and asked me to buy him a copy of CS:GO for some skins from a friend of his. The friend he contacted was the friend of the real owner of the account. The scammer/hacker told the guy he contacted that he would give him a knife if he DIDN'T send me the skins after I bought the hacker/scammer the game. So after buying the game, I waited for the skins but nothing showed and the scammer/hacker broke the news that I got f✿✿✿ed over.

I've contacted steam support and issued a refund and made friends with the scammer so that way I can keep him on my friends list until the refund goes through or if steam accepts it at all.

    - Person he contacted and assisted in the scam (The contact himself even said that he knew)

Hi, I would like to instate that this does not constitute as a scam and does not involve CS:GO items. My friend got hacked and the hacker posed as my friend to get me to buy him CS, which I did. Since no harm was really done and I should've noticed the signs, I would like to have this report marked as invalid or cleared out. I had no intent of tainting this person(s) reputation or report him maliciously with the intent of him being banned wrongfully. I apologize for filing this report without fully examining the policies of purchasing people games and filing a scam report. If there is any information or question I will gladly reply to them.
