    What happened? Description:
This user added me about a month ago just wanting to be my friend. He recently sent me a guide about new steam moderators https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1486674204#2684042
This guide has been taken down already by the owner but it stated that there are new steam users that are promoted as moderators to help clean up the steam community. So the user stated that he was a moderator and that he had received multiple reports stating that I had a “duplicate” item in my inventory and that I needed to send it to him to verify. He then stated that he would return it back with a unique id after he “verified it”. He said that if I couldn’t prove myself, my account would be permanently trade banned and community locked. Then he sent me a link to a user he recently banned. https://steamcommunity.com/id/TheBob-65/

He also said that I had a “pending deletion request” on my steam account, and that he would ban my account, community lock my account, and delete my account if I didn’t comply and send him my items. He sent a little link showing me the “deletion request”.

He then sent me a few links for me to read further for this “verification process” to work.

He then stated again that my game licenses, gifts, inventory items, wallet funds and other associated information will be permanently deleted and will not be recoverable. I tried to stall him saying that I needed to go, then he threatened that the banning process was 87%.

After that, I unfriended and blocked him. I was worried because he had a comment on his profile that was from a user that pleaded him to get unbanned (It should still be on his profile). He made this seem very convincing to me that he was a moderator and I hope this doesn’t happen to other users as well. Please look into this issue. Thanks.

    Provide Evidence:
This is the chat. I explained most of it in the description. Basically the user claimed he was an moderator of steam and gave me a lot of links that made it seem so very convincing. He wanted my unusual and he made a fake guide to convince me that all he wanted to do was "verify" my unusual and give it back. The links are all above in the description.

*Update in case it confuses you, the comment #3 where I stated the report that reported the same thing was false. I did some research later on to find out that they were not the exact same guide, but created by the same user (A Private Profile named "Community"). It still may be helpful for you to look at the screenshots to know what I meant, but unfortunately I could not take any screenshots of the guide before it got taken down. I suppose the chat screenshots should be enough. Thanks.
