Ohh that I believe is called Enhanced Steam but SteamRep doesn't run that.
I don't think its even still being maintained.
You can google it to find it.

I didn't see that, maybe it didnt work right for me. But either way i try not be use extensions and stuff where you cant view the code, or else you get axle'd.

I tried be write a userscript that automatically blocks scammers but steamrep api is confusing :(
    One has to wonder

Did you take the time to look thru the whole page - the source code is there since this is open source software.
    https://github.com/tfedor/Enhanced_Steam
    https://github.com/tfedor/Enhanced_Steam_API_Server

Located two clicks into that link you were given.
Click on download from within it and Augmented Steam.

As for "one has to wonder" if you are going to be so cryptic in your responses then I'm afraid I can't be of any more help here.

Axle's scripts were also open source. Either way I just prefer using stuff I made myself.

Sorry if I was a little rude but "their steamrep" is pretty easy to figure out. Here's mine:

Anyway, does anyone know if there's an API call for just a 'true' or 'false' to whether or not someone is banned on steamrep, instead of a bunch of unnecessary details.

The creators of that application may not even be steam users so they wouldn't even register here.

From our documentation, you would be looking for the "summary" field. The possible responses you can get are non-binary, but if you only care about scammers (a common inquiry) then you'd simply check whether the field returns "SCAMMER". The possible responses, if I remember correctly, are "ADMIN", "MIDDLEMAN", "SCAMMER", "CAUTION", and "none", which are often all differentiated from one another.
