    Afaik he has been on my friends list for years. Used to play jail servers with him years back but have not keeped in touch as i've moved away from tf2 but still get a ton of scammers attempting to add me over my items. I never showed the fake steam admin due to me thinking the screenshots would be enough but here is all of his info.

    Ok so stands to reason this isn't something this user normally would do right? Perhaps hijacked like all the others that do this - its a very very common thing and the wording is almost the same. Do you have any other way to contact them outside of steam to perhaps see if that is the case? Maybe message them again see if something changed?

    The reason I needed the fake steam admin info is its an account that is involved and clearly needs to be tagged - likely the one that hijacked your friend if that is the case.
    Can't confirm that yet so have to treat it like a scam attempt from the owner.

    Sadly I don't. As I said, stopped playing jail servers years back and really only talked to him through there. If you are under the impression its a hijack then please just keep him under radar. Last thing I need is someone falsely flagged but if the account is gone permanently then its likely that it will be continuously used for nefarious reasons on others. Thanks for the help anyway, I appreciate it :). Even that guy's url says "SteamAssistan' so he is for sure involved in it. Had a looksie on his profile and saw he has already been dealt a punishment so again appreciate the assistance :).

    You should contact them again or add them back and attempt contact again - see if that was the case and let me know sometime tomorrow or so.
    Lets see if you can confirm that.
    I've already taken care of the fake admin user - I'm more concerned with the accused right now.
