    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [None] No items

    Accused profile: 76561198160393798

    Victim profile: 76561198913877245

    What happened? Description:
The accused stated that the victim had a pending ban, then prodded me for information.
The victim was instructed to attempt to contact a valve employee (https://steamcommunity.com/id/BindeSlinger/) about their supposed pending steam ban for fraud. The victim then also mentioned the question of why the victim would be banned for fraud, stating that the victim's only trade was for five CS:GO items from a family member since the victim's family member in question did not use them.
Afterward, the accused kept on asking the victim if they had "added" the valve employee the victim had been instructed to contact.

    Provide Evidence:

Try to add this steam Valve admin and ask some question why you have pending ban report. Prove them that you are not involve in that report.

I knew the accused for a few hours before posting, and yes I have reported the accused.
And no, there's no way you can literally report an employee to valve. That's ridiculous! Also, if you don't want custom URLs, update the forms to report someone on steamrep! It doesn't mention to remove custom urls, it just says to copy paste the info on their steamrep.

That user isn't a Valve employee..I just wanted to make sure you reported BOTH users to Valve using the profile reporting feature.
That isn't a ridiculous request... kinda silly for you to think that user is a REAL valve employee anyway.
The reason a custom url isn't something you should ever give us is because it can be changed at ANY MOMENT.
Therefore if you gave us that you would lose it rather than taking a moment to find the ID64 and providing that instead at the moment you created the report.

If they aren't a valve employee, why do they have the status of one on SR?
Again, if you don't want a custom url, just change the damn forms! If i'm told to copy paste the SR contact info, i'll copy and paste the SR contact info!

The form is correct - you submitted it properly.
I"m talking about the description for the fake valve employee like you gave here:
See the custom URL there you gave for that Binde user? ID64 works best since that user could have changed the custom URL soon as you gave it to us which would make it no longer function.
Or yes you can copy/paste the full SR profile block for other users involved in the description area.

As for the status on SR.. .this user has NO status what so ever on steamrep.

In fact if you check their SteamRep profile now they were community banned by Valve already so no longer a threat at all.
