What happened? Description:

They told me they accidentally reported my account to a steam admin for scamming them and for having duped items instead of someone who supposedly actually scammed them. They told me if I did not confirm with the admin that it was a fake report my steam account would be pertinently banned. They then linked to the admin's supposed steam account, I did not add them I assumed the "admin" was going to ask me to send them my items to "prove they're not duped" and then make of with my items. After I told them I wasn't going to add the "admin" they unadded me.

(I'm assuming they waned TF2 Items since it's the only steam game I have any items resembling real world value on.)

Note: I'm not entirely sure if I count as the victim since I didn't fall for it but I am the one they tried it on.​

@Horse I have not reported either of them to valve. It didn't even cross my mind, I'll report both. I don't know how long I've know them, I didn't even know we were friends until today when they messaged me. There's probably some site where I can view our "friendship history" or something but I don't know what it'd be.
