Talked about a trade via personal message in the official forums. He agreed, redeemed the key (Darksiders is obviously now in his library) and removed me right afterwards.

Can you post screenshots of the agreement you had between PMs please? Also a screenshot of your inventory history from that time forward showing that you didn't get anything.
