    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561199023795491

    Victim profile: 76561198347040924

    What happened? Description:
This person asked me to send a trade offer that includes 7 items from my and nothing in return from him/her. Because he/she claims and told me that gifting items would be the only way to avoid the 7-day trade cooldown of those items. So he/she persuaded me many times for me to do that trade where I gain nothing at all. I didn't know if his/her claim was true or not so I tested with my alternate account by trading with it. The moment that I showed the proof to this person, he immediately left the call, blocked me on discord, and unfriended me on Steam. He claims his inventory that worths 300k USD which isn't surprising as I've witnessed the amount of insanely high-value items he has via screen share. I hope this user gets banned as he/she is a danger to the Steam Community. I hope SteamREP will be able to see this message and take action. Thank you.

*I don't have the evidence from the Steam Message saying to talk on discord as he/she unfriended me before I had the chance to take it. However, I do have evidence from the conversation we had on Discord.

This is a segment of our conversation where I think he tried to ruin my inventory by making me trade for a tf2 item which is a HUGE loss for me. I have first declined his offer at this early stage of our conversation.

Him lying about items not receiving the 7-day cooldown if he received them.

This screenshot further proves that he's persuading me to trade my items with NOTHING in return from him.

Him lying (again) about not having a cooldown from me "gifting" him.

He may have attempt ANOTHER method of scamming right here. The first method was to get me to send him my items with nothing in return by getting me to believe that there won't be a cooldown if I do it. The 2nd method is this one, where he showed me a trade offer he sent with his item but he refuses to let me see if he added anything from my inventory to that trade. So in a way that was trying to persuade me that he was going to send his item but he could just decline the trade via mobile Steam app.

Him forcing me to trade him with nothing in return as well as refusing to show that he has added any items from my inventory. At that moment I didn't know that if accepting a gift to someone would not require mobile authentication so he exploited that from me as well.

Him backing out of me testing his claim as he realizes that I'm about to find out that he was lying and tried scamming me.

Him trying to get me to fall for his trap. Telling me that I have to gift him my items or leave. View attachment 761424 View attachment 761425 View attachment 761424 View attachment 761425 View attachment 761426
