Description: Found this guy on the Output buying ref among other stuff. I gave a quick glance at his profile and he seemed legitimate, had a fair amount of comments saying +rep.
I usually go first in trades, since I have a good instinct, but I wasn't careful enough this time. I traded him 41 refined, and then he immediately went offline.
I looked over his profile again and on a second glance all his rep was posted within minutes of each other and he had only ~16 played in TF2. He has 4 scammer friends on his friend's list, which makes me suspect that one (or even more) of them is his main account/more alts.

Good thing I only lost about $20 which I can get back rather quickly... I learned a lesson and that's to be WAY more cautious in the future.

Addendum: Here's a screenshot of my inventory history showing that I traded 41 refined metal to the scammer.
