What happened? Description:

In short, I was added by Yggdi to trade my Unusual orbiting fire Charmer's Chapeau that I listed on backpack.tf for 25 keys pure however he wanted to pay in item overpay with a lucky NO. 42 TF2 item which was fine. Now, there are two versions of the Lucky 42 TF2 item, a unique version and a non-craftable version. The unique one is worth far more than the non-craftable, with the unique one being 31 keys and the non-craftable 6 keys. In the first image linked, it shows him linking to the unique version on backpack.tf instead of the one in his backpack (which I later learned was private). I looked up the item myself and saw the price difference and knew that something was up. This guy's method was to basically claim that there is no difference between the two and sent me an offer that if I hadn't had known was a scam, I probably would have taken it. In another image, shows him opening his steam backpack but not his backpack.tf, if he were to do that I would have easily seen that it's worth 6 keys. In the end, it looks like I'm about to take the trade but a middle man told me otherwise.​
