    Appeal Reason: [Accounts] Hijacked - My account was abused by hijacker
    Victim Repayment: No, I committed no fraud or had no direct victims
    Previous Appeals: No, this is my first appeal here    ​

    Appeal description:
    This goes way back in October 2019 its been 4 years and I want to clean the reputation and bring justice to my account, I was just trading and idling at the usual trade server and trading items that I wanted to own for myself. Until one of my old friends in my friend list (impersonated) messaged me and told me that my account was in danger and may be susceptible for a ban. Being the kid I was back then I was in panic and asked him questions on how to avoid that by helping me. A user with the name Valve Assistance messaged me via discord on how to do the procedures to avoid the ban including to trade all the items into their "database" so the cleansing of the account would be more efficient, Before I knew it I was already scammed and hijacked and I already had a scammer tag on steamrep.

    If you are claiming that your account was hijacked, you must provide the following:
    • Steam support ticket indicating you were indeed hijacked.
    • Exact dates (or as close as possible) of from when you were hijacked, and when you recovered your account
    • Screenshots of your inventory history from within Steam, from two weeks prior to two weeks after being hijacked.
    In addition, what you posted does not comply with our screenshot policy.

    You have two weeks to provide the required information.

    Due to the rule of steam they deleted the ticket after 60 days, well 4 years passed so it would have been clearly deleted but here is the email of the steam support reply and them giving the link of their response in my email with the date.

    The day I was hijacked was October 12 2018, and I managed to recover my account the day after which is the 13th via steam support.

    Here is the screenshot of my trade history of the exact day that I was scammed of my items then hijacked afterwards.

    I will be unable to grant this appeal due to the following:
    • Unfortunately we must have a steam support ticket verifying that you were indeed hijacked.
    • You did not reupload your screenshots in-line with our screenshot policy.
    • You did not follow up, and it has been over the two weeks given (21 days to be exact).
    This appeal is thus Rejected. If ever you are able to recover a steam support ticket verifying that you were hijacked during the time of this offence, and if you actually follow up & provide what is required, you may submit another appeal.
