    What happened? Description:
    Impersonating other user to get my unusual saying he can buy it with his 340 USD through PayPal and sending https://steamcommunity.com/id/Trader4/ users rep.​

    Provide Evidence:
    Tried to scam me impersonating Pollen "https://steamcommunity.com/id/Trader4/" saying he can buy my
    Purple Energy Das Ubersternmann with 340 USD through PayPal. ​

    The rest of agreement? That's our full conversation and to follow to the next step of him sending the money, I would have to accept the offer, so there was nothing more to do. He's clearly impresonating sending not his cash reputation, so I will send him offer first.

    So you didn't give the user your paypal information to get payment correct? You ended the conversation right here because you assumed the user wouldn't follow thru with their end and pay you for the item...am I understanding this correctly?

    So I should give him my item to check if he would send me the money when he is clearly impersonating and lying about his reputation? As he said there, he wanted me to "go first" so send him PayPal information and accept his trade offer and after that he would "send me money".

    You are assuming the user wouldn't pay you - same would apply they could report you for assuming you wouldn't give them your item once they paid you.
    You really have no idea and not something we take reports for based off assumptions. The user you reported could very well be legit and would have paid you..you don't know that either way.
    Now if you are wanting to report them for impersonation with intent to defraud that may different here but you don't know if they would have paid you or not.
    I need to verify that impersonation of the other user via ID64.

    This screenshot shows them giving you their BP info but it doesn't show any URL on it just an image that steam uses on the links now - you need to change that setting in your Steam application to show LINKS not images. So if you can go change that back and retake that screenshot showing them clearly giving you someone other than their info/link at BP then we can look at that part.

    Okay, so I can't seem to find that setting, but if I hover on backpacktf it shows me the link, so hopefully that's enough.

    That works however the chat box has no name in it and the steam client in back ground has no URL enabled.

    I'm pretty sure you can't see the name after someone removes you from friends/blocks you, so I can't get it in one photo, and about URL I didn't know what you mean so I just opened steam in browser.
