    Appeal description:
    Hi,

    I appear to have been banned from SteamRep for having an association with an "alt account", except the account in question belongs to someone who I have as a friend on Steam but isn't me

    I'm not sure what else I am meant to add as I have no involvement in whatever the activity that got them banned may have been. I am not involved in trading other than I use Steam Market and Buff to buy/sell play skins

    I am unable to determine if you are a true or defacto alt alternate account or not, a banned tag is not warranted. However, a month ago when I contacted you to conclude the case, you removed me for unknown reasons, even after attempting to reach back out to you no reply/re-add. I am only able to go off of our past chats to finish the case. In our second to last chat, you failed and admitted to failing to properly disclose past accounts. Lying by omission after many chats over the course of a year is grounds for an appeal to be instantly denied. Under the circumstances however, SR shutting down and limited time to review the denied appeal, a CAUTION is likely the correct outcome and no further appeals/review are warranted.
