Description: This scammer is using multiple hijacked PayPal accounts to make purchases for TF2 items. The original owners are then issuing chargebacks on the payments through their credit card provider, thus reversing the PayPal payment.

Please note, the third PayPal chargeback image I linked to is from a separate victim. As you can see from this chargeback, the scammer is using a different PayPal account, indicating that he probably has phished several PayPal accounts.

As for the alt account, I have not confirmed this, myself, however it's been reported to me that the stolen items have appeared in that account's backpack. It's currently private, so I can't verify.

I'm currently gathering data from multiple victims, so I will probably be updating this thread with more screenshots.

Also note that PayPal will absolutely not give you your money back, since they consider virtual items to hold zero value. However, it may be worth filing a support ticket with Steam, as even though they frown against PayPal trades, they may be able to restore your lost items for you. It's a shot in the dark, but it's worth a try.

What should I say in the dispute report?

The note that he was putting in the payments was a request from the sellers or he was just doing it? Because it looks like he was covering his ass with that note an he knew beforehand that PayPal don't cover virtual items transactions.

I just recently won a chargeback case against another scammer but I got kinda lucky because he kept me on his friend list after the dispute and admitted to me in a conversation that he received the items before filling the dispute, but even after I won the case I got an e-mail from PayPal with this message:

Most of us told him a specific message, but he posted the same message for most of us. Just a copy+paste :/

I can vouch for this scam report, as he has chargeback on my buds purchase aswell.

He chargedback on 2 bills and some keys on me. i can vouch too

He chargebacked me on 2 buds also.

I also got scammed by this guy. What is great is that my PayPal account got frozen, so I am pretty much f----d up right now.
