Hey Bucket here, and I would like to explain my story. One evening, when I was playing some TF2, a friend of mine provided me with a link. It promises 3 free games by Valve. Thinking it was some sort of promotion, I clicked on it. I was directed to a "Steam webpage". Like most of the steam websites, I logged in using my old e-mail account. After logging in, I was directed to a different website. Then it hit me. I recalled that hackers used this method and made a bogus website. I tried to change my e-mail password but it was too late. Seconds later, I could not even logged in into my steam account. I was devasted. I send a ticket to steamsupport to attend to this matter. And after a couple of days, I managed to retrieve my steam account. But most of my in-game items were missing. I contacted steamsupport and finally managed to get my items back.

But that didnt end there. It was just the beginning. I changed my email accounts and my steam password. I thought it was over but I was wrong. When I entered a Trade server, something caught my eye. [SCAMMER]Bucket joined the game. I was apalled at first then I came to realized that Steam would mark anyone a scammer if he/she make a trade on a hijacked account. For months, I have been with the tag but it didnt bother me. TFWH banned me from their site. Most websites banned me but not Outpost.

I didnt really care about the tag but then a fellow friend of mine told me that the tag can and will ruin my reputation. This made me worried. And so I am here. Appealing for my case.

Thank you for your time and I do hope my appeal gets approved. Don't hesitate to add me to speak to me directly. I will understand if you do not accept this. It wasn't the hijacker's mistake but instead mine for foolishly clicking on the link.

Just found out that I was banned too because I was given a phishing link. Clicked on it by mistake and the guy send my friends the phishing link

Fortunately he managed to get me ban. I m not mad at him but glad he did it.
