hi everyone. I was tagged due to somebody posed as or hacked in my steam account, and that guy started to try to phish people, but the fact is, I didn't do a single scam/phish thing to others. And I hope the admins could untag me from steamrep. Thanks.

Might want to add a picture of your steam support ticket on getting your account back, or else they can't prove if you have been hacked or are you just making all this up.

If someone would pose as you, your unique page url would not be the one posted in this thread...

    Not necessarily true.

SteamREP can make mistakes, that's why this appeal system is here to begin with. What if say someone impersonated me. The guy checks his inventory history and sees the scammer "ForteSP" scammed him out of an earbud. Then he goes to add a friend and searches "ForteSP" And clicks on my URL instead of the impersonators. It's happened to people. Generally steamREP clears up issues like that, but sometimes they can screw things up, after all. They aren't Super Human.

Actually it looks to be this situation exactly... http://i.imgur.com/lRAy9.png Look at the screenshot/evidence in the thread the original poster was marked as a scammer in.

This is generally the generic phishing scam where an impersonator adds and says 'this is my 2nd account." yaddda yadda yadda.

thank you all for sort of supporting me.
the thing from the start is: somebody (in my trading friend list) sent me something like that ages ago too, then i clicked it and i figured out it's a fake website, i closed it down immediately. After a while, some of my friends told me that somebody posed as me and sent them similar messages as http://i.imgur.com/lRAy9.png this, then i told them i was hacked/posed as.
but also, wic, i believe my "victim" is not lying, it's just that a hacker/poser trying to phish him...

    No worries :)
I was just pointing out it couldn't "just be an imposter", because he would have a different steam url than yours.
    Good luck with your appeal.

And a lot longer you will wait! Appeals can take over 6 months! SteamREP is so backed up it's not even funny.

not to rush you admins to help me appeal my scammer tag, and once again i was (maybe) reported by a trader because he saw the tag in steamrep.
please admins, i've lived with this tag long enough.

Hello! I am not an appeals admin but I was alerted that this may have been an error on the side of the scam reports so I am going to look into this straight away and see if this was an error on our part.

Thanks so much and I'm so sorry for the wait!

Aha! I found it. I am so terribly, terribly sorry. It was indeed an impersonator- 76561197995535309. It was an error on the part of the reporter who had mistaken the impersonator for you since you were in his friends list at the time. I am reversing the tag now. I am very sorry for the wait and the error. In the future, please feel free to message me directly if you run across something like this. Thank you so much and best wishes.
