After a long debate about how the deal was going to go on we came in agreement that he will purchase a 4 pack and then trade me a copy then il paypal him then trade another copy and paypal him the last payment. After he bought the pack (if he bought the pack coz his inventory was private he may just have 1 copy at hand) he kept asking for me to pay him in advance even if our deal was to pay him after the copy was traded. To give him some trust i traded killing floor as leverage for a copy of borderlands 2 and then paypal him half the money we agreed on (he had to pay the fees). Then when i asked for the second copy he started saying that the money didnt came and sent me an request for another 25E that i wasen't gonna pay upfornt him having all the money and the copies (border and my game). In the end he said if i dont pay him he will leave with my game and the border 2 copy so he did. So i lost my game in the process. I did end up with a border copy so at least not all wos lost but people like this guy are all around the forums and deserve to be punished or highlighted.
Hey there, this is Kyle2268 (couldn't sign in through steam) the alleged scammer. When I searched LittleNicky's Steamrep after our messy trade I instantly regretted not checking him out before I had agreed to trade with him. Admittedly I'm not a big user of this site; in fact I've only really felt obligated to sign up now because of this allegation however I maintain I have done absolutely nothing wrong. The plan was I was going to get together with 3 others and we were going to purchase the 4-pack of Borderlands 2 at a reduced price. As we couldn't find a 4th person as the sale deadline dawned upon us I said I would take an extra copy for trading. I exclaimed that I wouldn't mind purchasing the 4-pack as it was arguably cheaper in the UK (or so I've been told) however I initially stipulated that I would like to be paid upfront as I wanted to make sure there was enough money to complete the purchase and of course I was wary I wouldn't be paid if I had gone first. Instead after a little debate I conceded that I would give up the game first, however I would keep hold of one of LittleNicky's games as a form of collateral, in case LittleNicky didn't pay me. We also talked about his other friend's copy too. As is seen in the conversation printscreens I suggested that I give LittleNicky a second copy straight into his inventory save the confusion of emailing his friend, not to mention LittleNicky is paying for them both so technically it would actually be LittleNicky's copy to do with it what he wished. Anyway, I traded Borderlands 2 to LittleNicky for a mere copy of Killing Floor as the collateral. I then asked how I go about getting paid. Relying on his experience of Paypal to talk me through what to do I gave up my email address to him and then waited... a long while. He said there would be a few Paypal charges, as I had expected there would be (despite his initial assurances there would not be) but as can also be read above "just click pay now on the notification message and it will deduct 25 cents, 1 percent I guess". Finally when the Paypal notification came through it was not a payment of the 25E (25 Euros) we had agreed but instead an Invoice (a Payment Request) for the sum of $25. Not only was he not paying me any of the money we had agreed, but he had the audacity to try and trick me into paying him! I was quite annoyed at this, which can also be read above. I was pretty sure he was purposely scamming me as first of all he said 25 cents, whereby the sum of $25 was clearly meant to mislead me, and then he basically fed me a load of bull for the rest of the conversation as he attempted to explain he had already paid me. By the end of our exchange I tried to get him to understand that an Invoice does not mean he's paid and that if he wanted to trade back his game for my Borderlands 2 I would be happy to, he did not want to do this however. It is clear that Killing Floor is by no means a fair replacement for my copy of Borderlands 2, thus he has greatly profited from this ordeal and preyed on my inexperience with Paypal to try and get money off me as well. I'm quite glad that this moron has brought this matter to your attention and I'm very grateful he has printscreened the chat because I had not. Below you can also find some evidence I have provided: Namely an email I received proving that LittleNicky request $25 from me rather than paid me anything. Also of note is that when money is received via Paypal, it is Paypal that automatically deducts a small percent of that money as a transfer charge, no action on the seller's part is required. Keep in mind this is not his first Paypal offence, coincidence I think not.
I know I'm new to the forums and my word doesn't mean much. But for what it is worth I'm gonna have to say this looks like a case of communication gone horribly wrong. I think neither of you tried to scam the other. By the looks of it Kyle you tried to make things a little more difficult than usual by not being clear on what the transaction was suppose to be which further confused things. And LittleNicky based on the email screenshot Kyle provided it is clear you requested money not paid, so I'm sure you didn't do that on purpose, but in your attempt to charge him the service fee you sent a request for the full amount. The proper method to have him pay the service fee is to have him send a request for money to you, then when you pay it charges him the service fee. Hell even if you simply sent him the money the fee would be taken off the $25 he gets not added to the $25 you pay. That's just how PayPal works. So it is obvious neither of you are clear on how PayPal actually works and because of that you both did/said some silly things and the whole thing got confused. In the end though, morally speaking, Kyle did get screwed since the end result was no money changing hands and a trade of Killing Floor for Borderlands 2 (which is not a worthwhile trade). In the future make sure you know how to use PayPal 100% before you attempt to use it.
I am also very new but I greatly appreciate the input of a neutral party. I'm happy that you see I ended up with the worst deal and I do understand what you mean when I confused things a little, however in chat before the screenprints provided by LittleNicky began I believe there was talk of LittleNicky paying first if I could show LittleNicky the copies in my inventory. Whilst I invited LittleNicky to view my inventory after the purchase of the 4-pack was completed (as seen in chat screenprints) I was then informed that my inventory was set to private. After being told this information I promptly took the necessary steps to correct this for the duration of the trade, though I have since once again hidden my inventory. I see that you think that LittleNicky may not have paid through misunderstanding Paypal, however I cannot agree with you on this point. I take from his chat response "didnt you ever use paypal ? )" as well as from his previous offence (whereby he 'accidently' PAID a guy $0.50 instead of they're agreed $5.00) as understanding that he has at least a basic knowledge of Paypal's operation. What is also suspicious is that if he did believe that he had paid with the invoice he sent me then, all things considered, he would have still only paid me $25 and not the 25E (Euro) we had agreed on. He stats in chat that 25E is equal to £20.38 whilst in comparison $25 is currently only £15.46 thereby losing a fairly big £4.92 per each of the two copies I was to trade him in addition to the Paypal fees. Furthermore, I made numerous attempts towards the end of the conversation to wise him to the fact that he had not paid me any money, that I would send him a Paypal payment request and that I would give him back his game in exchange for either payment or for my copy of Borderlands 2, yet he was interested in none of this. You can see at end of chat I even tried a trade request. I get the feeling this guy knew that I would be annoyed about this trade (as you say I lost out in this deal) and incorrectly assuming I would make a Steamrep complaint against him decided he would make one first to try and beat me to the punch. Despite this complaint LittleNicky has made against me, evidence suggests that he does know how to use Paypal, he has made some rather suspicious actions in carrying out this trade, he has profited out of this trade and he has sent me a Paypal payment request (rather than a payment) under the false pretence that it is to pay for 0.25 cent taxes.
Have you guys sorted this out? Hidden Content: **Hidden Content: Content of this hidden block can only be seen by members of (usergroups: Administrative, Moderating).**
No way have we sorted this out yet, that little worm is enjoying the spoils of his scam (he's installed & played Borderlands 2) whilst I'm stuck with his barely tradable copy of Killing Floor!
Here you go Cobra, proof that he got the payment for 1 copy of borderlands and my game in the process :
This so-called evidence that you have uploaded LittleNicky is faked. I have to admit I was quite a bit surprised, dare I say even shocked by the quality of the forgery you produced, however knowing full well that I never received any such payment from you, I took a few minutes of my time to look up how such results are achieved. It would seem that you can manipulate PayPal screenprints relatively easily which unfortunately seems to throw this whole process of submitting evidence into jeopardy. Considering this I have noticed that your evidence lacks some quite important features. The first aspect notably absent from your evidence is the address bar which you have purposely cropped out. Whatever possessed you to do such a thing I do not know, perhaps it was because if you had in fact manipulated the PayPal screenprints then the address bar would not display the official PayPal website address along with the accompanying SSL certificate on display. Further suspicion is aroused when you notice that LittleNicky felt the need to plaster red lines over his evidence when in fact my evidence is comparatively clean showing absolutely no signs of tampering at all. Finally, and this I think we can all agree on, if LittleNicky's evidence is legitimate as he says it is then I would still have only been paid a total sum of $25 and not the higher value of 25E (25 Euros) that was confirmed numerous times within our initial conversation to be the correct amount payable to me once I had traded him a copy of Borderlands 2. Regardless of his evidence being deemed right or wrong, this sudden change in currency indicates clear deception by LittleNicky, incriminated by the very evidence (chat logs) he uploaded to smear my name no-less. Now whilst I'm not saying it is impossible for LittleNicky to produce evidence that would incorporate the official PayPal address bar it would be slightly more difficult to produce than the doctored image he uploaded above had he included the address bar. It should be questioned as to why the move to crop out the address bar was taken, at extra effort, when aside from the screenprint being a fake it would not have done any harm remaining.

Man cut the crap already and stop with this bullshit. Here i screenshoted everything with every bar and everything, is this enough ? I only darkened my email. Also I would very much appreciate it if the moderators would delete my paypal images after this is over bocause i am not confortable with my detalis all over the internet. Thank you.
Whatever LittleNicky wants to tell you the fact is we should get back to the main chat logs. It is clear just buy reading through them that LittleNicky didn't pay, he was in fact trying hard as he might to get me to accept his invoice for payment fees\ taxes\ transfer taxes as he calls them. It was an invoice for the sum of $25 USD I was sent (which came with a note). I then declined to accept this invoice and instead (as stated in chat) sent him back an invoice for 25E (Euros) that we had agreed upon, along with a note telling him seller fee is taken out when I get money out of his account. He didn't pay this invoice and so that invoice was cancelled also. I have uploaded Paypal screenprints for both of these invoices (with their notes). Lastly, as a way of proving that Paypal screenprints can be manipulated I have uploaded an example of a forged Paypal screenprint which I only looked up how to do last night after finding LittleNicky had uploaded faked evidence. I must also add once again that LittleNicky has already been charged with a separate Paypal scam and he seems to be using a merchant account rather than a standard personal account.
