I've recently received a SteamRep and TF2OP ban, the reason is " Self Admitting Scam " , I haven't actually scammed anyone, a close friend of mine wrote something like this on one of my trades " Omq skammur i want moneizz bak!11!1111 " And I was just playing along, he's actually a close friend of mine. His name is Sharky(͡๏̯͡๏). Sorry for the missunderstandingness. Wouldn't think people would actually think it was something this serious. Won't do it again. Thanks for your time! ~Wacker
I'm not sure how to provide evidence, I mean the reason is " Self admitted Scam " , but this " joke self admit thingy " was on my friend Sharky(͡๏̯͡๏), he's the one messing with me. As you can see on the picture below he's actually suprised that i've received a steamrep ban. That should be enough evidence, I could also provide my trade history if that's needed.
Sorry for spamming my own thread, but I couldn't find the numbers in the beginning. But now I did, 76561198050231238 , could someone add those to my title? Thanks.
As I was part of the investigation of this case, I have the ability to reverse the tag. After further research, it appears that a scam did not take place. The tag should have been an Outpost tag anyway since it was reported on Outpost but I handle appeals for Outpost so this is an easy one for me. Your tag has been removed but please don't joke like this in the future. We had several users report it and one who really tried to find where you scammed. Knowing your relationship with the person in question (friends since May of last year) and after verifying your inventory history I can approve this appeal. A scam did not take place. Thank you and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
