This "scammer" was brought to my attention yesterday evening when someone added me out of the blue being quite crass and generally upset. They claimed that i hadn't held up my end of the deal and began to explain that "I" had added them promising them my Ghosts Modest Pile of Hat for 3 Earbuds. He explained his story, and said he sold his Eerie Orbiting Fire Brain Slug for a quicksell price of three buds in order to buy my Ghosts Modest for the three buds.

Essentially, the person who sold this Brain Slug acted hastily as he was pressured into the sale.

I don't have the ID of this person as they removed me from their friends list before i could write this. Plus, at the time, i was not sure how much of his story was legit, meaning i was keeping my distance.

However my concern was confirmed when a second person added me this evening, called kewo, asking "im guessing you're not interested anymore?".

This was obviously something that was re-occurring, so i asked him what happened. He explained an almost identical story to the previous guy.

The second listed victim i noticed posting a comment on the profile of the scammer, 'idvorakk', saying he had gathered the buds for what i assumed was another one of my hats the scammer was pretending to sell.

I added him and explained what happened to him, and he told me the same story, just with a different hat. This second listed victim, Solierre {67}, said he was pressured into a sale after being promised another of my hats for a huge reduction.


My report is mostly around the fact that this person, idvorakk, is impersonating me (for whatever reason) and using that to pretend to sell my hats, for a huge discount. He is prying on people who notice that is a deal too good to pass up, but are too pressured into selling their hat to look into the fact the guy is a marked scammer already and a known impersonator.

as far as i can tell, his motives for impersonating people and telling others to sell their items for quicksale prices is just to annoy people. as far as i can tell, none of the people that have bought these hats at the quicksell prices aren't linked to the main scammer.
however it is a possibility.
