Wrex added me on Steam to buy two buds for $35 each. His reputation seemed to be clean and so I decided to go first on the trade (because I could mark him on GoV if he ran). I sent him the two buds and he has not sent me the money and is refusing to trade/respond to me. I am already marking him on GoV as a scammer.

Did you know about that? I would like to show you something. I think it does not look good.
In any case, wait for an admin or a moderator.

Just adding in my bit - i do have logs if needed but i think the info fog has provided is enough in this instance.
Werx added me saying he wanted to buy my o fire reggae for $120 and I stated it was worth half that i strung him along for awhile but i then told him that i wasn't comfortable in doing a cash trade with him as his rep only consisted of a few ref trades.

I said if he wanted to trade he would have to get buds. i gave him a link to a buyer with heaps of rep but he chose to go with another one (fog). I kept asking for the link of the trader and he kept refusing and dodging the question.
I thought this was sus and wanted to add him to find out if the trade went okay.

Werx said he had made the trade and for me trade trade quickly because his computer had to "stop" what ever that means.

I then checked steam rep again for his profile name and saw this post. He has now since gone offline.

Any questions or need the logs let me know.

SO sorry, meant to mark this as a GoV scammer already. Marking it now.

He added me attempting to buy a beams bonk boy for cash. I told him to get a moneypak. He somehow obtained one from the grocery store within three minutes. He started describing the card, saying it has instructions and i can use it to pay bills...i have no idea why anyone would ever say that.

he proceeded to claim that he was scared to go first, and asked me to go first. when i asked repeatedly if he wanted a middleman, he just stopped talking.

100% scammer, there is no doubt in my mind. he found my post through tf2op.

This guy is still at it with the go first.
