Steam Community SteamRep Chrome Extension

Howdy all,

I'm the author of the backpack.tf Chrome Extension and several SourceMod plugins, as well as the owner of a (hopefully) soon-to-be-affiliate community.

Anyway, I threw together a Chrome extension that displays a user's SteamRep status directly on their profile page. You can also click on the SteamRep status to go directly to their SteamRep profile.

Hiya. Just FYI, if you're using the Web API it shouldn't be a public extension. I actually made Chrome and Firefox extensions for this very thing, but mattie wanted me to take it down as the API isn't public yet. It didn't do it inline, but similar.

It uses the basic API that's available within the SourceMod plugin.

Ah, OK. Looking at the source I see what you did. I guess this provides a basic scammer or not. The one I had with the web api provided who the tags were from as well as caution, value trade ban status, and trusted profiles. Also, just to let you know, while it's nice to grab the steam id from the abuse form, that only works if you're logged into steam in the browser you're in as well. If you're not logged in the plugin doesn't work.

Correct, this only displays "OK" or "SCAMMER". You should always click it to go to the profile to be sure.

I'll update it tomorrow to pull the Steam ID from somewhere else.

Looks like a problem with the Chrome Web Store. I'd try Googling it.

This was a half-hour job because I had a sudden impulse and it wasn't in the web store already. I'll most likely take mine down once his is released.
