Basically what happened was he sold me a strange festive flamethrower and slipped it in there so I wouldn't notice that it was gifted. After the trade when I noticed, I called him out on it and he removed me.

Someone told me to report him to steam so I did that, then added him to give him a chance to trade it back.

He said he sold it then removed and blocked me.

He did not tell me it was gifted and put the item in then quickly rupped so I didn't notice.

Sorry I dont, mainly because I wasnt prepared to be taking screenshots of the trade. I closed it several times due to the fact that I was in class. All I have is after the trade. I would link to the OP post but he added me directly without posting there first.

No offense man.... I don't think SR admins are going to do anything about this one. You take your actions for your trades. Yes the handle quick switching but for a gifted item? Sorry.

Well the price difference is rather huge. I've been trying to sell this thing all day and I cant even get 8 keys for it.

The trade chat tells you when changes have been made so this is your own fault for being an idiot. You got a Strange Festive Flamethrower so just use it.

Last time I checked when your trading it gives you nothing but the name of the item in the chat. No info, no unusual effect, no craft name or number, just the name.

Calling me an idiot is uncalled for here and your use of it only proves you hypocritical.

Hello, unfortunately it's your own responsibility to check if the items are gifted/uncraftable.

Due to lack of evidence regarding this, I'll have to archive this report.
