Scammer 1 (known as WhiskeyTime at the point of the trade) added me randomly, asking if my Drodo was for trade. I told him it wasn't, as I saw it as a long-term investment. He gave me a paypal offer of 240 USD, and shortly after added that he was interested in my TB for an additional 60 USD. As I haven't been on the market for a few days, some quick research on the different sites told me this was a very good offer. I was willing to accept.

I checked WhiskeyTime at SteamREP, and he seemed clean at the time. WhiskeyTime is a known trader, with many hours played (Please not that WhiskeyTime is NOT the scammer! He was simply impersonated). Scammer 1 suggested using a middleman, and asked me if I knew anyone IRL who I would like to middleman the trade. I was not comfortable with using a IRL friend as a middleman, and suggested anyone from the SteamREP list of trusted middlemen. We agreed on Dr.TommY. Enter Scammer 2.
At this point my steam crashed, and the discussions leading up to this were lost.

I added Dr.TommY from his official SteamREP link. Somehow I got in contact with an imposter instead (Scammer 2). The screenshot shows the discussions that came after this.

In trade with Scammer 2 I wanted more security. I saw that Dr.TommY had a profile on this forum, and asked him to send me a message. As soon as I saw that the message arrived I accepted the trade. As steam was processing I checked the account, and saw it had just been created. As soon as the trade is complete both scammers disconnect from chat, and go offline.

After this point Scammer1 immediately changes his Steam name to "PuffMyDick". I am able to leave a comment on his Steam Profile labeling him as a trader, but that comment has been deleted and my communication blocked. During the time that my comment was there I was contacted by 3 traders who had all been approached by this scammer, with the same offer that got me.

One of the traders that approached me after reading of my plight was a good friend of mine, whom I have traded with in the past: PuffMyDick. The real trader. I repeat: PuffMyDick is innocent, just like WhiskeyTime!

Since then, Scammer1 has changed names to Kramer and Alpro as well. These are the SteamRep links to traders that have been impersonated by scammer1:

These two people are innocent, and have merely been impersonated!

Scammer1 has in each instance copied the user details of these users: He had the same info on his steam page, the same profile pic and the same name.

「✚」Dr.TommY is a trusted SteamREP middleman, and an Admin of ROK. He is also innocent, and has merely been impersonated.
