My brother and I share the same computer, however we have separate accounts for the computer so naturally he shouldn't be able to use my account. But for whatever reason, he found out my password or I left it on so he could access my things. He does not use steam as such, he only plays sometimes when I am playing and I let him have a go, yet this is still not very often. Now, for whatever reason he decided to buy some earbuds, I think it was 5 because on my steam profile there is a trader that I have never traded with before giving me rep for selling him 5 buds. This could not have been me as the paypal email that was used was "[email protected]", mine is "[email protected]" and this has been an email I have used for years and is linked to almost everything I have that requires an email, including my steam account. I never really played any games during this time, so I was clueless that this was going on and have only started playing again recently due to excessive coursework and exams at my college. He was generally on the computer a lot more than me so I thought something was up but I really didn't think twice. I only really got in to unusual trading at around January as I unboxed my first unusual then without really knowing what they were, and my brother then showed some kind of interest in this. He knew the basics of the game, and he knew what classes I liked so I think he was trying to make me happy to be honest, because seriously I was going to find out about this sooner or later :/. I am really not too bothered about this unusual I now have as a result of this incident, and would be happy to refund the person(s?) he scammed (I don't know if it was more than one, but I don't think so.) I am 17 years old so I only have access to a debit card of which I get £20 a month from my parents. I don't spend very often, however I have sometimes bought things from other players in this game before, but I have never had enough for me to be comfortable spending as much as 5 buds worth (not sure on the price of that but I know it's a lot.) My brother on the other hand is 19 and is currently doing a foundation year at a university very close to my home, and only has a 4 day school week with much shorter school days than me, giving him plenty of opportunity to have used my account. He also received a bursary recently, which if you don't know is a payment he received from his university just for turning up really, and this was (over the entire year in 2 payments) £1000.

Upon further review I have found the person that was scammed and I am positive it was him for 5 buds. I really hope you can understand this incident, as all I want to do is buy and sell stuff to have a bit of enjoyment from time to time, it's just a shame that this has severely limited anything I can do really. I hope you understand, and I sincerely apologize to "TurkOGP Lamb0fGod" who was scammed, and I hope some kind of agreement can be worked out between us.

P.S. sorry for the really long description, but I'm just trying to provide the most evidence I can.

Also because my brother bought an unusual, I apparently only have 1 earbud right now, so if a refund is required it may take time for me to sell this hat that I now have. Also if there is anyone else that is known to be scammed and they have proof that it was from my account, I will TRY and refund you but it depends on if I still have/can get hold of those items.

I have now changed most if not all I'm not entirely sure of my passwords to be a bit safer, and I am going on holiday from early tomorrow morning for a week. If this is investigated in the next week and someone needs to talk to me then I will only be available next Friday.
