^This guy was referred to me and I was told he was a trustworthy trader, by this guy:

I was randomly added out of nowhere by shockwave when Narnia started snoopin through my backpack. Its All in the SS's. He tried to have me trade with a SR scammer. I told him that by promoting a SR scammer, he's liable to get banned. I believe I was randomly added by Narnia in the not so distant past (month or so) and have no faith in the guy .Please help me unsure justice is swift and ruthless. I had to decline one hell of an offer with the idea in mind I cannot trade with a SR scammer. If in anyway I'm wrong here, and AM able to trade with SR scammers, I'd like to know the specifics. As in do I need to back check the buds/hats on my own? Or is any trade (as Ive assumed) a bad trade when done with a sr scammer? Reassure me I didn't just toss away an awesome offer for nothing.....Trying to hold strong on that belief...

As for the chat in easy readable form, for I must apologize I'm an incompetent invalid..also if there are any issues regarding the number of SS's ,or the fact this is sort of a double complaint,I'm willing to separate them to ensure it gets processed and dealt with smoothly and in proper format.Eagerly waits to hear I didn't goof...
  2. Ok, for one I did not randomly add you, you added me begging me to give you a fricken deal on my teamcaptain. And two, all I did was tell someone about a trade and he was interested in the hat. Shockwave shouldn't even be banned for one, he got banned unjustly about a year ago and atom glanced at his appeal and said he'd come back, but never actually read the whole thing (http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198050508480-zoidberg-sr-scammer.10892/). Shockwave has never scammed someone out of items and I sure as hell haven't, maybe this might actually show you an unjust ban so you can unban an innocent trader. And for the trading with an SR scammer thing, it's one of those things that slips your mind. It's not like I intentionally went on my list and told a scammer to trade this guy at this specific time. I was talking to shockwave about what I could get for my beams noir, and since I already had this guy added here (he had a g fetti stahlhelm and 2 buds), I thought I could offer my noir to him. He shut down my offer and I told shockwave about it and shockwave asked what I offered the noir on. I told him the g fetti stahlhelm and 2 buds and shockwave flipped out and asked how much for the stahlhelm (he really wanted the hat before I even told him price), and this guy specifically told me two buds,
"†Narnia†Spinnymcdervic: hey dude, you interested in a sunbeams noir for your 2 buds + your stahlhelm?
[SLSH] TF2 Shop-Arsonova: not in the very slightest
    [SLSH] TF2 Shop-Arsonova: bad offer
†Narnia†Spinnymcdervic: how is it a bad offer?
[SLSH] TF2 Shop-Arsonova: my hat is 2 buds
    [SLSH] TF2 Shop-Arsonova: and is a 10f4
    †Narnia†Spinnymcdervic: is a what
Then shockwave added him and they talked, shockwave offered 2 buds that he righteously obtained and this guy flipped out saying it was 3 and then shockwave offered 2.5 buds and the guy said no again (so that "turned down an amazing offer," was horse s✿✿✿, he's fluffing things). So, then shockwave says a polite o.k. and before he deletes this guy, he starts blurting out oh you're a scammer, you're a scammer. Then comes around and tells me, you tried to have me trade with a scammer. Aside from that story, I really find no reason to actually ban an innocent trader such as myself, for shockwave being a scammer slipped my mind. I feel as in a warning is suitable, but a ban is unjust. It was honestly a slip that I a sure you wont happen again. And for this being said by the guy above, " I believe I was randomly added by Narnia in the not so distant past (month or so) and have no faith in the guy," uhm you can tell this guy is quite full of the bullshit because in a server I said I was selling my smoking team captain and this guy rushes to trade me with a lowball and says "trade me, trade me, trade me". I told him he'd need to add and he was persistent on his offer and threw up a bunch of hats and I told him that wouldn't do, so he kept saying please and what not to try and make quick profit. So he added me just in case he could make good deals off me in the future (for some reason people think I'm a noob trader with good hat, Idk why). And when I see this posted on this guy's account ,"IM SELLING OVER 5900 ITEMS ON 7 ACCOUNTS!!" I automatically think of a scammer. So could you check him out too? Everything about this injust, shockwave shouldn't be banned (so please look over his appeal I posted above) and I most certainly don't deserve to be banned because I made an honest, and very human error. The error to forget. It's not like he was scamming anyone (he hasn't ever before), he just wanted to make an honest trade. And I tell you, I will not forget stuff like anymore.
  3. "Proof of Narnia helping him get trades through a clean account:" Shockwave and I aren't affiliated in trading together. This is probably the first time we've actually talked to each other about trading. This guy just suspects we're in cahoots, when we're actually friends. I do my trading on my own, without help from anyone. Lol, if I helped people with trading or had people help me, I would honestly be richer. Alas, I am not rich at all.

Alright so I guess we're doing this,

I'm going to start by saying I don't beg. Secondly I have way too many customers to worry about how people got on my friends list, so go ahead and step down off THAT pedestal. All the admins need are these screenshots. They will review it, and get back to you about whether or not setting up trades with SR scammers is equivalent to trading with one. Someone with 1400-1800 hrs and you don't know who the scammers on your friends list are yet? "This is probably the first time we've actually talked to each other about trading." Yet you claim, "Shockwave has never scammed someone out of items..." I for one can't tell to what degree you and he are affiliated, so as i said earlier to you in the chat, (SS provided unlike some people) "Let them figure you guys out," I have no time or patience with/for scammers.

You could learn a thing or two about civility as I'm sure anyone reading the end of our convo could tell you. If they say there isn't a problem then there isn't a problem. If they claim you are not to be held responsible for passing on a SR scammer with 3 alts after that many hrs of TF2 trading under your belt, then so be it. Your crack at my shop simply amuses me. I have NOT been flagged and I COULD be full of sh*t. You sir, will never know. On the topic of full of sh*t, i believe in the chat i asked your dear friend about the reasons to his ban BEFORE I would consider trading. Look again at what his response was. In order for me to find out why he was banned, I needed to complete a trade with him first...Yeah...OK. This friend of yours is marked, I believe you knowingly sent a scammer to me, and I have no patience for it. IMO, there should be a cut-off point where ignorance isn't tolerated....somewhere in the 1800 hr range. So many hats, such petty squabbling. I think I know why you get fished out as a noob. Sit back, relax, and let the admins take care of this. Screenshots, all in the screenshots. My only concern was whether or not I can accept his offer he made a while back for 3 buds to other traders. In the process you almost had me marked for trading with a SR scammer, and I honestly hope someone here at SteamRep can see it and realize that should be punishable.

BTW my hat is 3 buds to me. When i said 2, i was basing our prices solely off of bp.tf (assuming that's where you thought in some magical way your noir offer was equal to my stahl+2 in any way) hence the talk of how many are in existence....damn it now you have ME sounding like a whiny kid too....let's just sit back, and let the admins do what they do best. Kicks feet up*
  5. Your "internet offenses" are not demoralizing nor do they make you look, how do I put this? Cool? There isn't really anything else for me to argue here. All you can do is keep flapping your gums and hoping your assumptions will get an innocent trader banned. "I believe you knowingly sent a scammer to me, and I have no patience for it." Ha, people on the internet so smart no? Bahcaez we taek geussing to dah next levul. And I laugh at you're oblivious incompetence. I took a stand and clapped for you when you told me you were going to report me, because stunts like this just show how absent-minded a lot of people on the internet are. You sir are doing a good deed and it shouldn't go unnoticed. You are the kind of people who make the tf2 community hell-raised because you call everyone a scammer. Incompetence, is the greatest downfall a person can experience in life because it clouds the ability to reason and or think straight (hohoho you sure are full of incompetence). And now that I think of it, you might actually be doing me a favor trying to get me banned. I've been wanting to stop playing this game for a while now. Ha, *kicks feet up so high you can't even see them*, done here and I'm not coming back because I really don't give a lick of s✿✿✿ anymore.

Incompetence: To overlook a SR scammer, prior to recommending him to other traders.
Incompetence: "..is the greatest downfall a person can experience in life because it clouds the ability to reason and or think straight"
"And for the trading with an SR scammer thing, it's one of those things that slips your mind."
    There never was an argument

    a) Where is this "internet offenses" being quoted from?
    b) "There isn't really anything else for me to argue here", followed by:
    c) <insert paragraph of rage>

Summary(IMO): In reality this is the world TF2 has become. A bunch of kids running around with their parents credit cards, getting caught stealing from them, causing payment reversals. So now you have a bunch of children buying instant credit cards and dropping out of high school to work at McDonald's to support their need for unusuals via bud trading. The game is rated mature yet there is zero parental control in this day and age, so we're stuck with a bunch of idiotic, dictionary.com using tweetards learning about gambling, gore and gay jokes before their balls have dropped. Figured you might care for some ACTUAL "internet offenses"

May I add the community is doing just fine (SR included) at scoping out some of the less mature members and taking preventative measures to ensure (refer to Summary) that it does not keep happening. May I borrow that link?

XXX I'm leaning back on my chair. Feet up, legs crossed, cowboy hat tipped over my eyes. Catching a snooze with a piece of straw in my mouth, waiting for lady justice to prevail.... I'm the coolest s✿✿✿ you've ever read about son. Take a seat. XXX

When reporting scammers in the future, your thread title should be in this format:
    Thank you.

And thank YOU for fixing my title. I am however more concerned with the individual who referred me to this scammer. Pretty sure the scammer is marked one way or another, but a guy with 1800 hrs should be held responsible for almost getting me marked. Karma can be quite funny at times, and i don't think stupidity and misinformation should exempt you from it's bitter burning b*tchslap. Although I am mainly seeking the details on whether or not I can complete the trade, my only genuine concern is having almost been marked. Can I in any way maybe have this scammer's file looked into(for potential innocence), and/or get clarification on whether ignorance is key to getting someone you've had prior issues with, marked?

After a long evaluation of the images, I can't determine if there was any foul intentions. The scammer did not try to scam you, and the person who refereed you did not seem to have any ill intent.

With that said, your report will not be accepted.
    Sorry.
