On April 15th 2013 at approximately 21:00 I was asked to get my items duped by a guy called: http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198045807295 This next part is going to sound crazy: I am someone on this Earth who lives by one rule and one only: I hate to see mean people take advantage over good people. I consider myself a good person because I believe that I try to do what's best and at times like this I'll risk myself so this http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198045807295 guy may not do it to others. Now this may seem complete balony and that Im lying and what I actually wanted is the duped items. Sure you can go ahead and believe this, you are entitled to you're own opinion and I respect that. I essentially play along with this guy's game and ended up giving him my earbuds and my unusual hat, now who in the right mind would do this?? I would. Because as I don't want people like him roaming around and I also knew. I posted here: http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198045807295-booker-detwit.27698/ And you can view all the evidence there. Now because I was "attempting to receive duplicated items" according to http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198029641131 and admin JJJJ Administrator SteamRep Admin: 76561198023025738 I get marked as a scammer. I feel like this SR mark should get removed because I feel like i did the right thing and no matter how crazy it sounds that it was I believe. I furthermore feel that I should get my items back, atleast my unusual hat Tricorne.
I was scammed about a month ago by the same guy, not in the same way, however, but it's an awful shame scammers like this lurk TF2 and ruin the experience for others. So I feel your pain bro.
Just say no! http://s.gullipics.com/image/3/e/4/j3a838o-koum1i-yxwa/php1BQRgW.jpeg Perhaps there should be a 'Stupid' tag rather than 'Scammer' tag? (or a caution, otherwise nobody will report the actual scammers for fear getting tagged themselves)
I have proof from the night he was scamming me that indeed my intentions were to get him banned and NOT to keep any duplicate items. However I cannot find the message history of it; is there any way?
And have you not read the evidence where it says: If the process fails he must give me back my items and gets trade banned? I KNEW that duplicating is not possible, I gave him the items which was stupid so that he could think I believe him and ergo, I could get him banned.
