So i added one of his friends to see If he knew anything and told me that the day before he was approached with the same offer and decline but simply forgot to remove him.
After talking to "Ryan' and telling him about what happened he Messaged MarcLoller and asked him about my hat. this conversation happened and he was smart enough to screen cap it for me and let me use it for this.

He said he was selling anything to make a quick profit, he ended up selling my hat to a Genuinely nice guy that didn't know anything about the scam, I spoke with him, and it was sold for 17 keys pure.
the Orbiting Planets Flamenco is a 30 Key hat there's no way in hell 17 keys was anywhere near a profit unless it was stolen no one sells it for even 20.

He wanted to scam me, too with his 30 hours in tf2. His Max is scammed, too, he stole it from this guy: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198041856571 so we need to report him. Wish the best to you

You know whats Interesting is you commented on his rep thread
but you didn't seem to notice that all the people that commented minus you and one other, Where all alts of his with no game time played
only him as a friend and basically an empty account.
I'm not putting any blame on you because i should have noticed and i feel stupid.
After i started spamming his tf2op trades with the link to this page his rep page changed.

i swear on my life this isnt fake.
If you add him and ask for his rep he might give you this link again or something. I'll add him on another account and see what happens.

It is possible I locked it or something. Recently I locked about 70% of Rep Threads, and will move any which are not up to minimum standard to a hidden area in a week or so.

Actually I think he has DELETED IT, since I am Mod, there is no way it can be hidden from me, and I just spent a good 10 minutes trying to find it with all manner of advanced searches

Ive got even more proof. I added this guy asking why they where friends and he said he was added looking to get his unusual for 40$
