This one's a bit different in that I have loose connections to both of the people involved, but I didn't directly take place in any of the deals. I have, however, found the reported user to have made several false claims that he cannot revoke. My steam name in the following report is "The D-Oh-Double-G".

Description:

The Doctor posts on my trade offering my cash buyout: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10767573 then tells me he is 55 dollars short. About an hour later, he offers Vinnie The Horse's cash buyout: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11131484 and adds him. According to Vinnie, the item was sent but he did not receive the money in exchange for the hat; The Doctor claims to have sent the money to the wrong address.

 So I went first on a trade of my cloudy moon dixie for 185 USD, and he told me to send a request for that amount of money. Instead of paying through the email that was supposed to be sent to him, he directly sent the money through his paypal account. The one problem now is that he misspelled my email and ended up sending it to an account that doesn't exist. He claims that the money is still missing from his account, but I never received the payment. I honestly have no idea what to do right now, any help with this would be great.
Edit: Apparently he thinks that because he sent the money somewhere, he is still entitled to the item.

After I see this, I have a short conversation with The Doctor, as shown above. His story simply doesn't match up. That, coupled with the fact that he had made several claims that had been proven false, has revealed that The Doctor never had the money, and never intended to buy it, in the first place.

wow, said i was skyping so you'd get off my back because i would rather have his unusual, when i said check my paypal i thought about hey if i bought that i would only have $40 left then so i wouldnt really be able to buy both and i bought it to sell in the first place and i was changing it to where i was sending $190 instead of $185 and i misspelled the email [email protected] by spelling it [email protected] because i typed it out and i'm new to paypal so i didn't know what to do after i found out i spelled his email wrong, after i had just lost $190 i didn't feel like giving what i had lost the money for back, plus i had received death threats to me from "Vinnie the Horse" In-Game via voice chat.

I sent you an email with a screenshot of my empty paypal account with a time stamp, proving that I never received any money from you. You still did not bother to respond to me or try to fix your "mistake". I never threatened you while in game; you were not responding to me in the steam chat so I attempted to communicate with you directly though Team Fortress 2. I merely said that I was giving you one last chance to return the items you stole from me before I made a claim to steamrep.

If you actually sent it to the wrong email, you knew that I never recieved any money, but you still refused to return the items. Wherever you sent the money doesn't matter to me because I never received any. You should have given me the items back and straightened out your own mistake with paypal. Instead, you immediately put up a trade on outpost and sold it to the first offer. I warned you many times what would happen if you did not give back the items you took from me, so because you did not listen you have to face the consequences.

Also, the address "[email protected]" doesn't even exist, so if you ever sent any money to that email, paypal would have immediately bounced it back to your account and you would still have the $185.

In addition "Im a Time Lord", the same user under a new name attempted to buy my unusual for money shortly after Vinnie's ordeal, but refused to use a middleman or go first. He said there were "no free middlemen" as an excuse to not use one, despite commenting on pretender's profile earlier that day, asking for a middleman. http://imgur.com/XtrwvXS

I don't give a (expletive) that you didn't buy it. From my conversation with you, you were extremely fishy, and you scammed a trader I know. Now I will leave this thread, as you still have not produced proper evidence showing you paid the 190 dollars to anyone, let alone the wrong guy. And learn proper English grammar.

Well, it's clear that 76561198038119700 is lying because as anyone can see in the screenshot above, the victim BILLED the player directly. So the whole "I typed in the wrong email" doesn't even work. In addition, he must think none of us have ever used Paypal because if you enter in an email address of someone who does not have Paypal- which would have clearly happened if he had actually "mistyped" the payment (which didn't happen anyway since the victim BILLED him), Paypal would not have sent the payment because it would not have belonged to a valid Paypal account.
