This is the alternate account of the scammer. If you look at the item history of all of Proof's items then you will see that the second last item owner was the scammer. The items that were promised (The Harvest Moon Modest Pile of Hat) is also in Proof's inventory and the second last owner is the scammer.

The person who scammed Crippling is an alt of Bubble Gum :3 (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198115396394) a person who is already banned on SteamRep and is on Steam trading probation.

The person who scammed Crippling has never opened his inventory in TF2 which is why you cannot see items in his TF2 backpack. Bubble Gum :3 is an alt of Proof, Proof used his alt - Bubble Gum :3 to transfer items from the scammer alt (The one that scammed Crippling) to his Bubble Gum :3 account and then from there to his main account. This is why the scammer does not show up in the owner history of the Disco Beat Down Vintage Tyrolean that was scammed from Crippling.


If you look at the owner history of the following items:

You will see that Bubble Gum :3 is the second last owner of the items. Showing that Proof has used that account frequently to transfer items between his accounts.


The Harvest Moon Modest Pile of Hat (http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2396040124,139,5), the one that was promised to Crippling when he was scammed was transfered from the scammer's account to Bubble Gum :3's and then to Proof's. Proof has now moved the hat to one of his alts that has not opened his backpack, which is why it hasn't been scanned by services such as backpack.tf, this explains why the scammer's name is not showing up in the item's owner history.​

A friend of mine told me about this report, and I got like "WTF?". I've never traded with this person accusing me, nor with the other person also accusing me. I traded with the dude who is banned now for scamming the hats I have, but he wasn't banned from outpost when we traded, otherwise, I'd never trade with him. I gave a Burning Waxy Wayfinder and Harvest Moon Modest for the hats he offered to me by the way. Here are my trades:

According to the history on the Waxxy the item went straight from Proof to this account.
This account is either another alt of Bubble Gum or Proof.

Again, both the dudes who are reporting me for having scammed them never traded with me before, they traded with the scammer. They only presumed that I "scammed" them because their stuff is with me now. My account dates of 9-10 years ago and I never cheated/scammed anyone nor am alt to any other account. I hope you guys can find out who is the owner of this alt account where the burning waxy is now, as well as where is the harvest modest. Maybe it's possible through the scammer's IP or something like that. If you need any further information that might help with the investigation, let me know. I'll be following this post until this is solved.

There's no such thing as "hiding the hat". Steam inventory doesn't show it. You can check your own inventory and you'll see.

He sharked me out of my only unusual. You lied about the pricing of the hats you were giving, then lied about how you would use everything in your power to set the hats I gave you and the hats you gave me both at around 7 buds. (I do not have pics, but it is shown in the second link) You then bullshitted your way out of me filing a report because I knew so little about trading (I unboxed the Attendant literally a week or so before the trade).

The Attendant was then sold to a friend of mine named Zukins for 10 buds

The madden in the third trade added up to around 4-6 buds at the time. He lied about the hat's actual price according to offers, and instead, sold it to me claiming it was worth as much as his B/O when it was priceless with meager offers.

Not only this, but he overprices hats up to +3 buds or more and makes a stupid ridiculous profit. Just check his trades on outpost, and the history of the hats I have now.

With all due respect, but what does our trade has to do with scamming at all? I made an offer on your Attendant, as you can see here http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15973998 and you accepted it. Any of the hats involved in the trade had a price set, at least up to that time. I made an offer based on your B/O of 7 buds and on your particular interest in medic hats. Stop lying only because you ended up making a bad deal. I never forced you to trade with me, and I'm pretty sure you are one of those persons who takes bp.tf prices as a rule, because you checked the site before trading with me. If your friend paid 10 buds for the Attendant, it's his problem. I never traded with him nor had been offered 10 buds for this Attendant. About my history with scamming, I kindly ask you: Please, show the admins any evidence of me scamming anyone. I beg you.

If you are a polite trader, and you have several reps on your profile, why added 4 people
for friend whos have the same problem? If one guy says you are a scammer, it can be a mistake.
But if 5 people says it can be something wrong with you sir, not with us.
A little psychology:
If you say you aren't a scammer, why say it 5 people?
It can't be random.

In case you hadn't noticed, you shark, you lie, and you scam. This isn't just from me. This isn't just from me;MANY people have accused you of being a scammer now.

How about you put up some proof that I used backpack.tf at the time? Put up a screenshot of my internet history with "backpack.tf" in it. Can't do that, can ya?
Bp.tf simply lists the prices of items for how much they were sold for, with there being an emphasis on proving that the trades went through.

I was simply listing my known history of the hat. On the trade, you had the B/O listed as 10 buds. On the third trade listed, you offered the B/O for your hats instead of the value of the offers given. I'm still waiting for you to set the price for the Madden as 6 buds and the Tsarboosh as 1. Sadly, you covered this all up with the typical "Holy sh*t" next to a link to your profile on Outpost, as if you're intentionally trying to make it harder for scam reports to get proof, but saying that would make me stoop to your level, wouldn't it?

That's how so many scams go, and I never lied once. New clueless trader stumbles upon someone with an unusual, clueless trader proceeds to trade out of the excitement that they were getting different hats without knowing actual value of hat, clueless trader ends up with SO much less than they could have had. I believe this is called sharking. You ARE stating a few facts, however. Nobody did force another player to get sharked. They took advantage of the fact the new trader knew so little. According to your rules, SO many scam reports would be shot down because they "ended up making a bad deal". Of course they did. That's why they're reporting. They were SCAMMED.
I wouldn't expect you to know this, but when the first few Germans set up in the new state of Texas, they bought some land. The land was infested with hostile Indians, and the Germans were greatly dissatisfied.
What does this metaphor have to do with you scamming? Everything. The man who sold the land LIED about it not containing Indians. The Germans were dissatisfied, knowing so little about the land and the surrounding land, that they could not judge whether or not it was good. After arriving, it was found to be terrible.

I'm sure you can at least piece the puzzle together with that one.

So, 5 scam reports eh? Clearly I'm not crazy for thinking you're a scammer.

There are two scam reports open involving me here at steamrep. The other people reported the scammer, and not me only because their hats ended up with me. Please, do some research before making such ridiculous questions. Two or more people are saying I scammed their hats, because the scammer scammed more than a single hat and gave all of them for my Burning Waxy (valued @ 20 buds) and my Harvest Modest (valued @ 35 buds). The dude gave like 8 unusuals for my Harvest Modest and 4 unusuals for my Waxy. I don't know which of them were scammed or not. This is clear enough for me. Again, he wasn't banned at the time we traded. My screenies are up there showing the hats' histories. Please, read the evidence before posting again.

Stop acting like you were a poor newbie who didn't know prices with these empty arguments. Again, you didn't show any evidence/pics of me involved in scam or shark acts. Where is the evidence these "people" you talk about have against me? Show me only one piece, please. They traded with a scammer who then traded the scammed hats with me. Any of the pics or chats have anything to do with me.
Nonetheless, you came out of nowhere saying I sharked your stuff. I'm pretty sure you said you really liked the hats you got (and this is clear in your trade, if you want "proof"). The fact that you regret the trade you made or don't like the hats anymore doesn't mean you got sharked.
It's pretty easy to require proof, eh? We traded like more than 2 months ago, and you want me to prove that you used bp.tf. C'mon. I could only ask for evidence too of me pricing the hats.

So, "Bubble Gum :3" traded with you at febr 25. At that day he got bann. He sold all his valuable items to you before he got bann. It looks like, "Bubble Gum :3" knew he will get a bann soon, so he decided to trade with you, sir. All his items traded with you. Why did he know? Why did he give all his things for just you, sir? And we didn't get the full schreenshot of the trade history yet. Please hurry up and help us to close this case with justice.

Read all the posts and you will find all screenies of the trade as well as the links to my trades. He didn't give me anything. I traded a Harvest Moon Modest (valued @ 35 buds) and a Burning Waxy (valued @ 20 buds) for the stuff he offered before he was banned. His offers on my hats are on the links above. You only have to read it. Again, his offers on my hats at outpost are on the links above, i.e., he wasn't banned, otherwise he couldn't offer at outpost. Both trades were made by "trade offer", as showed on the screenies above.

Again, you said I "hid" the hat in the inventory. That's something impossible to do. Inventory History only shows the items the user got, not the ones the user gave.
