In my opinion, he wasn't really trying to scam you... just an incredibly moronic attempt at bullying.

He kept this up for 2 days straight.

I bet that he has succeeded with that s**t at least a time or two, all the newbies and people who don't know anything about trading and the values could easily get scared and fall for that. I would say that that's a bad scam attempt.
