And if you did , please provide a screenshot of your inventory history.
( Go To your steam profile > Click Inventory > Right Under Gifts , Click "View Inventory History" > Then Scroll Down , Until you see the trade )

I did not do any trade with him, I sent him the key first, and he disconnected.

I am the person who you are accusing of scamming you. I have never scammed anyone - not you, nor the other people who were scammed (or targeted) by someone impersonating me [1][2][3; see feedback by TigerDRena and below.].)

This has been my Steam gaming/trading account and name (for over 12years/7 months respectively), and I had to struggle to get my name cleared on SteamTrades two weeks ago when I was last impersonated. After that experience, to use my name to scam someone out of a key to a game which I already own [4] (from the Groupees bundle) - and for which I have an extra copy in my inventory [5][6] - would be (to say nothing of the ethical issues) a risk far too stupid for me to take.

Also, as a bit of a side-note, if you look at my SteamTrades threads (eg: [7]), you'll see that I state that I don't accept keys for games that I already own, and frequently reject such offers.

Above scammer, liar. Nothing more scammed me, you block me so I could not add you. I am well aware that this was your profile, I'm not stupid and screenshots say it all.

I did not block you, and I never received any friend invitation from you. The only time we have talked is after I added you to explain that you were scammed by an impersonator.

I do not wish to get into an argument here - it was already obvious to me from when we talked on Steam that you're set on accusing me. My reply was directed at the admin/mod who reviews this report.


To Admin/Mod: The talk/add that I mention above was when I added him before posting in this thread. I tried to explain that it wasn't me (but rather an impersonator) that scammed him, how I was being impersonated last week, and that anyone can change their avatar and profile name to anything.

Stop lying man, you think I'm stupid, things think twice about scamming people, scammer.

Guys , this is not the place for the discussion , just wait for an admin to come & see the case & he/she will decide , no point quarreling over it.

He scammed me and he voted me negative in steamtrades, when I did not done any business with him, I hope that this person be punished.

As Boredom said above, please wait for an admin to properly review this case when they have the opportunity to do so; there is typically a fair backlog of earlier reports that will be dealt with first.

I have found the real culprit because I am unable to add them as a friend (whereas I was able to add the real Detruire.)

Because I was so annoyed about being scammed, I was locked into distrusting Detruire, who I would now like to apologise to.

Detruire and I have been talking over Steam, and we have both removed the negative feedback that we placed on each other's SteamTrade profiles.

From the profile name history on that profile, I think it could be an alt (or the main account) of the person who was impersonating me a couple of weeks ago. Both accounts have been used to impersonate randomguy (if this is indeed the name of a trader) and myself.
