I don't have any screen shots as I don't know whether or not my pc can take them.

I was playing Arma II as he friended me. i accepted and he went on about he wanted to buy my maxand he has loads of rep. I have never done paypal trading before but my friend said *ask for an very high amount, if they say yes then they are most likely a scammer (or REEEEALY desperate).
so I asked for £50 GBP (£ or english money). he said yes yes as if he was in a rush.
My Friend said = Hmm.. a bit sketchy, check him on steam rep. I went on his steam rep and he has 1 scammer friend and 7-8 caution friends and around 15 private profile friends. my friend went yeah he may well be a scammer, ask to use a middleman. i asked, and he said 8oh no dont worry im ALWAYS do middleman on some people's trade (he said it just like that). i went on to check his bp.
it contained 4 items... mercenary, an unusual salty dog (cant remember the effect and he has blocked me) and 2 random weps. i then said him, err you are a bit sketchy... you have a few
cautioned friends on steam rep and 1 scammer friend. you also only have 4 items in your bp.
he immediately deleted me and blocked me.
I think this may be an impersonator as when i searched for *opti* on outpost he came up as having loads of rep. I apologise about not having screenshots. if anyone knows any way to go back on my chat history with old friends please tell me. Thank you very much for reading this.

Yes it is defenitely an impersonator, search in *opti* on community and you will see, there are 2 people with the same profile pic, same description, but one of them has only
a few things in there inventory. the one woth not much in there inventory is the scammer ( and impersonator ).

I'm forwarding this report to the Impersonation section to investigate. Any screenshots you can provide would be very helpful.

Sorry I did not know how to take screenshots at the time. I also closed the chat box straight after he deleted me( its a habit ). So all I have is on my main post. Thank you very much for taking the effort to look into this impersonator, I hope you get some solid proof!

Unfortunately, without the evidence, there isn't much that can be done.
