I saw this trade this morning: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15718557

Being very interested in a purple energy noh I added both parties. After some haggling with TMANTUFF we agreed on my scorching tyro and 7 buds for his spartan. Meanwhile, I had added TERMINAL DOGMA who had offered the p. energy noh mercy in the first place. We agreed that if I got the Demonflame Spartan from TMANTUFF that DOGMA would trade me his p. energy noh. I confirmed with him multiple times and while I was in trade with Dogma I confirmed again. He even went so far as to send me a copy of a text that he had received from his "friend" who wanted the spartan.

After confirming for a final time I accepted the trade. Then TMANTUFF removed me and blocked me and set his profile to private. Immediately after I told DOGMA that I had the spartan he messaged me that his friend actually wanted a Tartan Spartan for demoman. I confronted him about it and reminded him that we had made an agreement on the Demonflame Spartan I acquired for his PE Noh Mercy. He backed out of the agreement and so I am reporting him for scamming. I include TMANTUFF in this because I believe they may be in on it together. DOGMA has now also made his profile private and closed his TF2OP trades.

  3. I do hope that you did save the other half of the chat where more important things were said. If this is really needed then I will take the mark on myself if that's what you decide. Tman truly did not have anything to do with whatever happened. I have the texts still of my friend saying the demo hat if need be for any reason of the sort. I admit I did agree to trading but that was before that I had known of the demo hat and not the other spartan so I admit that it was an idiotic mistake on my part. The buyout of the spartan from tman was 35 buds and i offered the noh. sazed traded me and the fiasco started. I thought that the hat would have actually been 35 buds and then from what sazed had said it would most likely be much less. So in a sense that also would have been a shark (or scam)? I don't trade much so im not familiar with prices or terms overall. Sorry again for everything sazed.

I didn't screenshot the other part. It wasn't really relevant because all you were doing was making excuses for reneging on your agreement.

    Hello @sazed,

We need the Steam Inventory History of the traded items. As we do have some requirements, here's what you need to do.

Required Steam Settings for this exercise:
    • Open the Steam Browser by double clicking the steam icon in the tray in lower right corner of your screen.
    • On top left, open menu "Steam" and select "Settings".
    • On the new Settings dialog box, select "Interface" and enable the tick in front of "Display Steam URL address bar when available".
    • Click "OK" to close the Steam Settings dialog, applying the setting.

    Making the screenshot:
    • In the Steam Browser, go to your Inventory, by clicking your Nickname in the top middle and selecting "Inventory"
    • On top right, click the "More" button that is shown above the game labels for the various inventories you have, and select "View Inventory History".
    • Seek the trade that relates to this on the number of pages you have (look below for the requirements).
    • Go to the start menu and type in the seek box "snipping", you will find in Vista and later the "Snipping Tool", click it to start it. It directly wants to make a screenshot. Select the full window excluding the very top of the steam browser window where your LOGIN name is shown. But INCLUDE the Nickname, the steam URL bar fully, both sides and full bottom of the steam browser.
    • Click the "Diskette" icon, or click "File" and then "Save As...", and save it to your desktop.
    • Come back here and make a reply.
    • Drag the image into the reply on the forum from the desktop.
    Requirements of the screenshot(s):
    • Exclude the Login name and steam wallet amount that is on the very top right.
    • MUST show the Steam URL in top left.
    • MUST show the NICKNAME in top middle.
    • MUST show the related trade from the day before to up to at least 2 days after the trade or current date if that is earlier.
    • MUST show to the bottom of the steam browser window.
    • You are NOT to edit the screenshot, and NOT to blank out anything.

Hi SilentReaper, hopefully this shows enough of the trade before and after. Shortly after this, I got frustrated and cashed out my backpack to a friend.
