What happened in this thread was true. I did take the guys Key for Skyrim. It didn't even matter, because I was unable to use it as it was region locked. So that's a loss for everyone. I tried to cover up my actions by getting a legit Skyrim gift copy from someone else and installing it on my account then took screenshots of my account details.

I admit to my wrongdoings and I apologize for my actions . I have also contacted the individual to make amends to which he has told me he doesn't really want anything in return. More or less it's been forgotten by the two of us.

It's been over a year now. I would like to appeal this as I have learned my lesson. I do enjoy trading now and again, mostly Dota2 Items, and do so legitimately. I have stayed out of trouble for as long as I can remember and would like to start over new with a clean slate. I am now an owner of a Counter-Strike 1.6 Community Clan so I'm hoping that counts for some kind of credibility. If there is anymore information needed from me I will be happy to assist.

It's been about 2 weeks now. I know you guys are all busy and appreciate the hard work you put into this. Just hoping for some kind of update. Thanks for your time.

Appeals can take months to get looked into, wait a good while, maybe even a few months, and an admin is bound to review this.

It is august now, 4 months after I had submitted this appeal. Was wondering if anyone could look into it?

It's been over 2 years since the incident, so I thought I would update my appeal but it seems that the format has changed. I do check this appeal from time to time, but I'm sure you guys are busy as there are thousands of appeals.

I have tried to contact the victim on numerous occasions through his steam and through Skype which he has on his account. I won't say that I've tried to contact him on a daily basis, because I haven't. I may contact him and not get an answer, or I will be deleted from his list, and I would try again a few months later. But I really am unable to get in touch with him and would like some assistance if you could provide it. I've left messages letting him know that I am trying to repay him. I am more than willing to repay back what was lost or offer whatever else he wants in exchange for the loss.

As a token of my sincerity and my gratitude to the hard work you guys do, I am donating to your cause. Please don't think of it as a bribe, because I honestly think that this community is on the right path with preventing online fraud especially in the Steam Community. However, there are very old appeals and I think a little boost in morale would help you find some more suitable volunteers. Thanks.
