I received rep from one of my former friends that I later found out was a scammer. I already delete the rep long ago, but the scammer tag is still there.

The rep I got from him was real, but I deleted it when I saw the scamming tag on steamREP.

Faron8 is now trying to ruin The Mentlegen's reputation by spreading lies.

Simply saying that you are an admin of the mentlegen is NOT grounds for the tag to be removed.
'faron8' did not threaten you in any way.

This ain't fair. An older friend of Control Freak (Wince) did something terrible. He changed his name and he impersonated Control Freak, after his try. The conversation in the unusual trade community: This was wince, the impersonator. We have a whole thread with evidence, let me search it.

Sorry for another message, but I can't edit my post anymore. In the above post, you find evicence for this whole case. Someone named "Wince" tried to scam someone in "Control Freak's " name. After he did so, Wince changed his name back to his normal name (see screenshots: http://www.unusualtradingcommunity.com/viewtopic.php?t=7158). After that, the scammed person probably searched for "Control Freak", and he reported the real control freak, which is one of our trusted admins.

I hope this case can be resolved quickly.

First of all. The only reason I mentioned Faron8 in this thread was that he was accusing me for scamming, which I haven't done, and I would like to have my appeal rushed a bit so The Mentlegen's reputation wouldn't be at stake. But HelenAngel have already helped me in the thread.

I have good proof that it wasn't me who did it. Which Arne just posted.

The 15th December was the date I learned about SteamREP and that I was tagged as a scammer, because Mobster(undisputed) saw it on steamREP. The reason I removed Mobster(undisputed) as a friend, at that time, was by request from him, because he said that I would come in trouble if I kept him as a friend.

I have finished completely reviewing your case and based on all evidence and the investigation, etc, your scammer tag will be removed. However, there was enough suspicious activity to warrant a Caution tag. Of course this decision can be revoked if any further repports on you materialize in the future, so be good.
